The film apparently resembles the loud filmmaking of RGV in his cult thriller "Kaun". Sometimes the film seems like an example of bad filmmaking with loud bgms and dialogues which is written like a CID TV show. The film deserves some credit the way it unfolds itself and despite being loud it keeps you guessing. The frequent dutch angels reminds you of the old hindi thriller films .The film lacks good or even decent editing but maybe the budget is the reason behind that .The film although revolves around a family but it completely deviates from the exploring the main characters and also several key aspects of the film is ignored. The film invests all it's attention to bring in the twist in the end in the most bizarre way. At first the twist may shock you or even to some extent impress you but when they try to match the dots to justify the twist you will remain unsatisfied .The twist may confuse you in two ways either it's completely lame or shockingly well made. The performance from Anjali Patil is one of the few bright spots of the film, her performance is what keeps you engaged throughout but Sharib Hasmi and Abhimanyu Singh are not utilized properly although they tried their best.

#Surprise

I didn't think about this underrated gem..now I regret for judging this amazing film..film had some problems regarding to budget..pacing issues and some meaningless scenes but also surprises at that time with the help of story, acting, presentation and thrill element..I really love the film and it's horror_film focusing directly on story and seems like mixture of psycho..the shutter island and bollywood classics like kaun, the stoneman murders and gupt
You can definitely watch this atleast unity time!

Thriller Based on Matrimony / 5 Stars

Can't deny that the primary revelation in My Client's Wife hit me the strongest but the events that led to it were rather hit or miss. It may be because of the low production value or the peculiar camera angles or jumpscares that gave me a feeling that this was shot in the previous century or the uninventive dialogues. It even tested my patience in the middle but thanks to the short running time (100 minutes), it was bearable and I managed to finish it. TN.
Twist(y) and shout
kosmasp25 September 2022
No pun intended - I mean can you blame the shouting? Especially when you know why the shouting is taking place? Sounds like a riddle? Well when the movie finally unwinds (and rewinds I reckon) and unravels the whole plot by explaining everything to us ... you will be the judge (no pun intended again).
There is some fun you can have here - you have to be down for the things that are quite out there to work for you. I have seen way better thriller to be honest, but this is quite decent. Acting is ok too and the story is ok (even if it could have been told a bit tighter - I don't think this counts as a pun).

Avoid at any cost

When you try to give too much of suspense and in that attempt you end up only fooling the audience.
Very pedestrian execution and acting by some of the good actors.
Special mention of music, probably this work was given to 10-12yr old kid who was just playing with instruments most of the time.
A must watch.

This is what happens when a brilliant story meets brilliant acting and fantastic direction. This movie will bind you till the end and in the climax you'll be shocked of what actually happened. Abhimanyu Singh is strong as usual but Anjali Patil and Sharib Hashmi both have done a great job with their roles. Writer and director of the movie Prabhakar Pant has made some fantastic short movies before that i have watched but this one is way too good. Must say, it's a one time watch for sure.

What a waste of my couple of hours

I am not sure why it got a 7. It doesn't even deserve a 2. There was nothing interesting in the movie. The twist will make you puke. So many holes in the movie. It's like this movie was directed by a 10 year old, making up stories as they went along. Very fluid story, it changes every few minutes. Only watch with your logic turned off, else it won't make any sense.
Great work..👍

A Very Fine Experiment By Debutant Director
MandalBros-52 August 2020
Started to watch only for Sharib Hasmi and Anjali Patil but came up with a very good thriller. While watching the film you'll understand that it's a very small budget film. That's why may be Many will not like it.
Music will remind you of Hitchcock's Psycho. The best thing about this film is it's climax and you've to wait for it. It's very good that a debutant director has done this type of experiment in his first film. At least watch this for once. These movies need support.
Available on Airtel Xtream, JioCinema, ShemarooMe & Amazon Prime Video.

If the suspense or a thriller movie fails to bind you and caught your attention in the first fifteen minutes, its a waste. I liked the trailer very much but the movie was an utter disappointment. Actors were good but it was as if they were not convinced what they are portryaing.
Avoid it.
Avoid it.
Must watch before you die

If you liked Stree(2018), you will love this too, far better than Stree. Although the premise is similar to Ittefaq, the execution is much better. The director keeps giving major hints throughout the movie, and the beauty of the script is, the climax is still unpredictable. The climax makes you wonder "Why didn't notice this before?" . And call it an overstatement, but this movie should have been nominated for the Oscars, especially considering the low budget.
I highly recommend this movie to thriller fans... 10 stars to the director's vision

Another Average thriller

Initially I felt like I will have the same feeling of watching a RGV kind of story telling, but during climax it was neither exciting or intriguing. Good performance by all the actors and story is okay, but finally average execution filled with mediocre screenplay and background score. You can watch it one time, not that extraordinary.
Good one

Warning: Spoilers
Story is 'different' for sure and the end is not to be guessed.
That said, there are a few flaws that cannot be ignored.
1, From their previous works, I had come to expect more nuanced performances from the three leads: Anjali (Newton, Afsos); Sharib (The Family Man) and Abhimanyu (Gulaal, Mom). The end explains why Anjali looked a bit off and that may be on purpose but could still have been a more subtle effort.
2, The 'suspense' background score is way too loud and is heard way too often. I had to constantly keep changing volume on my device between the 'music' parts and the 'dialogue' parts of the movie. It was counterproductive to it being an immersive experience. It felt as if they tried to emulate Hitchcock trillers to creat tension - except suspense movie scores have evolved over last half a century.
3, This is the 'spoiler' part: When we come to know who the woman in burqa is in the opening sequence - that feels extremely politically correct, an artistic cowardice - to the point of being communal pandering. Why does not Bollywood still not have the courage? Why does the moral rectitude belong to Muslims and why did the adulteress have to be a Hindu woman?
