An above average pilot episode that manages to introduce all of the Loud kids and their different personalities, giving us a good indicator on what's to come.
I particularly enjoyed the first half of the episode as Lincoln acted more mature and less selfish than he does in the second half and in most of the episodes following this one. Yes Lincoln's ultimate goal is to get the power back on so that he can watch his show, but he's still taking on the role as a protective and caring brother when his sisters needs him to. The ending is adorable and the lesson Lincoln wants us to take away from this episode is one of the best ones of the season.
The second half however, aren't nearly as good as the first one. Lincoln acts incredibly selfish and the "I have to delete my cruel voicemail before the person I sent it to hears it" plot is far from an original idea. Still, I appreciated that Lori's "I couldn't care less" attitude regarding the entire situation seemed to make fun of how ridiculous it was in the first place.
