Quite often a series ends on a disappointing note, Apple Tree Yard however ends on a high. This fourth episode is outstanding, for me this was the best of the quartet.
All the way through we wonder if Mark acted alone, or did the pair set the course of action together.
It's intense, dramatic and thoroughly gripping. The best element of course has to be the sheer brilliance of Emily Watson, who deserved awards for her performance, her cross examination scene is heart breaking, the acting sensational.
I was on the edge of my seat, this was tremendous.
That revelation at the end, wow!!!!
