Not as bad as it could have been.Hunter and Olivia are still completely unconvincing as a loving couple but they don't do anything overly annoying.Chris' involvement shows exactly what should have been done a long time ago, building a family unit for Olivia instead of trying to give her an instant soul mate.
Phoebe and Dom are similarly difficult to root for but the storyline of Bella going missing almost works, despite several contrived elements that should have been jettisoned, notably how Bella managed to turn up at Phoebe's house.
Ricky and Nate make it through an episode without arguing and manage to have a decent discussion(despite choosing to make up the "adult" way). Sadly, there's then a contrived cliffhanger that promises an argument to come.
