Entertaining show

After watching each episode, the ending was somewhat predictable, but if your a 24 fan, you enjoy the format and fast paced action. This is a good show. The only problem with it is that it follows the ground breaking original hit show. Corey Hawkins as Eric Carter is very good. However he is not Keifer Sutherland's Jack Bauer. There is an old saying. Never follow a legend. If you never have seen the original show, you will enjoy 24 Legacy. Old fans should enjoy it as well, but will always see 24 Legacy as not nearly as good as the original 24. I agree, but 24 Legacy will be back for another season, I am sure. One good thing, is by producing only twelve shows, the story line and plot was tighter, and not nearly as convoluted with too many sub plots, that some were just stupid, and did not add to the story line in the original 24, that had twenty-four episodes.

The final episode really sums up this series of 24:Legacy. Well made but perfunctory. It never really rises above that and the last segment was a little bit boring as well.

Carter is out to save Rebecca's life and needs Naseri's daughter to do a deal with Naseri, while Bin-Khalid is preparing to carry out an execution that would be broadcast live. Of course Carter has to save Naseri's daughter as Tony Almeida has been sent to kill her.

As ever with 24, things never pan out in a simple fashion and the audience is rather ahead in knowing things might not end up happily ever after for someone.

It Was Just a Bit Dull

There's a spark missing that was there in the original. Some think it is the absence of Jack Bauer. I think it's the writing and the plot. I never felt the tension the original had because the storytelling was disjointed and there was too much soap opera involved. Carter doesn't have much charisma. The way it was all wrapped up was not very satisfying. I suppose with Donovan in the fold, they had hoped to have another season. I can see why the powers that be decided against it.

That's not how you end a season of 24

Warning: Spoilers
The storyline is made in a way to just fill in the blanks. TV shows like this are forced to end it on time. The show is called 24 they couldn't end it in 11hrs. This was one of the worst episodes.

What was horribly directed was the dialogue between Nassiri and his daughter. They were supposed to speak Arabic but that was not Arabic. It was like reading Arabic subtitle which is translated from English. Very poor and cheap!

The show was done in 2017! They could have done better job. Bin Khalid was speaking better Arabic but the rest of his team should have been also good in Arabic.

I wish Jack Bauer was back.
