Robert Bresson's classic "Mouchette" had a trailer made by Jean-Luc Godard, who in his turn made it pretty much with the style he uses in his own films. Scenes intertwined with title cards that reveal a few things about the film.
Not much appealing, I think it reveals too much of the picture during the story's description to the point where I might pull off the audiences who never seen the film. The way the words were used at the beginning were okay but then in the middle...it just went showing how sad the story is going to get. The clips used are just fine. Again, just like his trailer for "Week End", he makes us interested in the short due to its lack of voices feeding us with the memorable quotes from the movie.
Whatever the case, "Mouchette" stands on its own without the trailer...but Godard didn't disappoint with it. 7/10
