I admit that this does seem like filler. Wait, it wasn't based on a manga, so how could there be filler? Well, "Pokémon" wasn't based on a manga and it certainly had what people would consider filler. This episode features Goku joining Vegeta in training with Whis. It's weird to see these opening jokes with Beerus sleeping. Maybe this show has been focusing too much on comedy. Still, it's pretty entertaining for what it is. It's interesting to see Vegeta being put to even harder training than Goku when they're in the same place. I'm interested in knowing how much those things weigh that they're carrying.
Whis is featured which always works. I thought that was Vegeta that was throwing Goku across in one scene, but it was actually Beerus' tail. The best part is probably at the end when we're introduced to some of Freiza's henchmen who are trying to take over planets in his name. Didn't Vegeta kill them all? We then see some brand new characters at the end, Champa and Vados. They weren't in the movies this show was based on, so I'm very eager to see how they are relevant to the plot. Well, I know some stuff already. I just like to read ahead. ***
