I'm not saying I want anything to happen to Harold, but it does feel like the whole plotline with him and his memory has been rather brushed away quickly when there was potential for further development.
Surely there had to be a happy medium between Alzheimer's and just "oh, you're taking the wrong pills". It just feels like a missed storyline opportunity that would be more interesting than anything linked to the Rodwell's and the Vagara-Murphy's currently.
One day we might see Mel back and she can explain her reasons for ditching Toadie, but for now it's just another breadcrumb trail the writers are leaving out.
There have been a few too many of these for my liking so far in the revival. At some point they're going to need to give us some answers.
