An awful episode with the newly hatched noibat

Warning: this episode review may contain spoilers. reader discretion is advised.

The episode begins with Ash Ketchum and his companions resting somewhere in the forest. When Ash got his Pokemon egg, he hatches it, and contained a Noibat. It could have been either a buneary egg, or an Aron one, but no, he has a noibat. This episode does not contain Pokémon from the first four generations, which the xy writers did not care about, so it has little story elements involved, otherwise it has no continuity like in episodes of my little pony: friendship is magic. Then Team Rocket captures noibat and hawlucha, leading Ash and the gang to rescue them from the tree. Later, Team Rocket goes into the cave, but unfortunately for them, they are spotted by noibat, and frogadier defeats inkay and pumpkaboo. The Team Rocket trio gets blasted off again. In Conclusion, Ash gets to keep his noibat, and it agrees to be in training.

Cringe Inducing Visuals: 0/5 Cringe Inducing Audio: 3/5 Lackluster Writing: 5/5 Annoyance: 2/5 Disturbing Content: 1/5 Unnecessary Cruelty: 3/5 Rancid Morals: 0/5 Low Producion Values: 1/5 Unfortunate Implications: 0/5 Character Derailment: 2/5

Other Notes: Yet another step in the wrong direction. This episode also copies the style of May's Egg-cellent Adventure, and there are still no likable characters. The characters still act like ponies, and the storytelling is so bland and lazily written.
