THE WOMAN IN THE RED DRESS is a cheapjack indie thriller with a few fight scenes to see it through. Sadly, said fights are spoilt by incessantly roving camerawork and merely adequate combatants; they look sloppy and filmed in a hurry, lacking the finesse seen in a proper B-movie. The plot sees a fighter falling for the titular character shortly before her murder at the hands of an aggressive thug, thus sending our hero on a path of revenge. The lack of money is all too apparent here.
