Upon first hearing of this film, I was considerably excited. It seems as though new films about the Great War are few and far between, and this one seemed quite good; my expectations were most certainly exceeded. Though there is relatively little dialogue within the film, it is powerful enough to convey the main theme of the film, as well as display each character's emotional state. The cinematography is very well done, for it perfectly conveys the mood of each scene, especially when coupled with the wonderful, yet deeply emotional, musical score of the movie. The message of the film was very strong, and concluded with a short, though very impactful and thought provoking ending; I genuinely loved the movie, and can't wait to see more from the director and cast!
