Decent Pilot - Let's see what it builds up to
eartherian3 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
** Might contain spoilers, not necessarily.

Looking at the first episode, what can be said is that the show Quantico cannot be rejected at the first sight. That means two things, first, the show is above average and second, it does not have a WOW factor.

Those who like these kind of plots will not be disappointed but if you are coming from a background of the 9 seasons of 24, you will definitely keep wanting more out of this one.

The plot could have been better, it felt like too many things were happening in quite less time and when that happens, there is a loss of substance. The beginning episodes must build up the series even if they are a bit less pacy, but at the same time there has to be something which can give you satisfaction of watching a 40 odd minutes episode. Neither happens here perfectly.

The acting of the lead actress and the other characters is good. Let's see how does the series go in the next episodes.

Re-Imagining Hoover's FBI For Entertainment...And, Hopefully, Something Compelling
AudioFileZ1 November 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Quantico begins at a brisk clip and might overwhelm at times, but it moves in a most interesting way perhaps due to the deluge of disparate characters immediately introduced and the seemingly unrelated parts. It veers into a bit of being too clever such as the quick sexual fling between two of the characters. The girl tells the military dude she would have got to know him if she would have wanted to actually have anything other than a quick roll. This segues to a class at Quantico where, surprisingly, they're both applicants to the FBI...and then to the present where the girl has just survived a massive bombing of some building. For less than 10-minutes in this is moving at a breakneck pace by any TV standards. I like it. It makes no sense except that the world is made up of every type as are FBI agents, and terrorists. To effectively work counter-terrorism in this world the old J. Edgar Hoover FBI is not the current version.

That's the intro and now on to a compelling mystery. The bombing was at NYC's Grand Central and sexually forward female agent, Alex Parrish, is not only a survivor, but immediately picked as integral in unraveling the bombing plot which is thought to be perpetrated by a classmate. Maybe her being a survivor makes her both a suspect as well as a witness who is a trusted agent that just happened to survive? Things go crazy from here. Maybe Quantico races out the gate and tries too hard, but many will be hooked in a mystery that's as bombastic as 9-11 and in that there may be a twisted reality. I would have to give Quantico's pilot a definite 7. It seems too clever and tries too hard to be so, but it's strangely compelling too. It definitely demands more and in that I'm at least hooked for some more mystery and some bits of closure to bring much needed focus.

Horrible acting
sweetytoktok1 October 2015
A look at the lives of young FBI recruits training at the Quantico base in Virginia when one of them is suspected of being a sleeper terrorist.

The episode was interesting but what made me going mad is Priyanka Chopra 's acting ..... her acting is awful .. i can't believe i have to stand this poor acting for 13 episodes or more if there is a second season .. the plot was interesting but she ruined it .. she should take some classes of acting .. the producers should change her in the second season .. because her acting is very annoying and makes me feel uncomfortable while watching the show .. i revised some reviews , some of them saying the same thing ... the producers did a great mistake in choosing her !!

Quantico is the season's best new show of the season
stillakid29 September 2015
My expectations going into Quantico were not high. However, after watching the pilot I was blown away. Easily, this season's best new show. Plus, the new star Priyanka Chopra is outstanding as Alex Parrish. I wasn't aware of her but after watching the first episode, and after searching her name, I got to know she is an International superstar. She is very beautiful and talented. My new celebrity crush maybe.

Run
Prismark1011 March 2016
The pilot for Quantico starts with an interesting premise.

Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra), who is suspected of committing a terrorist attack. She is found among the ruins of Grand Central Terminal, she immediately becomes a suspect as a sleeper terrorist.

We have flashbacks of Parrish and other young FBI recruits training at the prestigious Quantico base in Virginia.

The first episode really goes with a bang and at Quantico we have a diverse bunch of recruits with differing abilities and some harbouring more secrets than others. Plenty of potential suspects and the pilot is made in a breezy manner and delivers a few shocks here and there.

It shows a series with potential.

Bad Acting

Very unrealistic and full of flaws. Also the worst acting I have seen lately. They just portrayed FBI a complete drama like a soap opera.

Quantico

Quantico. Run. 2015.

The writers are frequently irrational. There is surprisingly little in the way of plot. Likewise character development.

The whole exercise to find out a secret about one of your fellow recruits? Pointless. Nonsense. We suppose whoever had the best smart phone with the newest apps would have an unparalleled advantage over the others.
