It is not that "The Witness" was that bad, but I also feel like they kind of dropped the ball with some of these opportunities. Seeing the witness appear from the backseat after the viewer had assumed no one was hearing their conversation was kind of funny, but after that it sort of went downhill.

Having watched The American version of this show before this one, I feel like that series handled these kinds of plots much better than this one did. There was a lot of potential with the son appearing at dispatch with his mother, but they just did not really accomplish anything other than 1 or 2 laughs with it.

The Witness

It starts with Hendy and Stokes mimicking American cop shows and talking tough. Then seeing if they can say 'I love you' to each other and mean it.

Suddenly a woman appears from the back of the car. She is Tanya who is there as a witness and point out a suspect that might show up.

Back in the container, Jimmy is back together with Bruce and happy about it. It seems the bullet did not go through Bruce's brain but went past his shoulder.

Bruce mentions to Jimmy that Glen, the boss's nephew has gone missing. It is not long before Jimmy blurts out the truth.

I found the episode weak with Jimmy and Bruce was the best part.

The cops assuming Tanya was a prostitute was just lazy when she was an accountant. Although they were right that Virgin Galactic would never fly!
