Amazing film, very well done.

Warning: Spoilers
I experienced this film in the intimate Bijou theater located at the California Institute of the Arts, and it was definitely my favorite short that was presented. The director, Cheyne Bush, clearly displays a mastery of manipulating the audience through what seems to be an incredible understanding of film; Every small detail instills a deep sense of consciousness. As far as accuracy goes, the writing is beautiful in its vagueness. Each scene is a subtle puzzle piece that fits together into one elaborate picture that, if manifested, would vividly represent Jeffrey Dahmer. Bush's decision in making this a nostalgic, almost sympathetic film was fantastically well done.

As for the actor performance, Zachary Davidson was the perfect choice for Jeffrey Dahmer. I understand that Davidson is an extremely outgoing man in his day to day life, so watching him bring Jeffrey Dahmer, an introverted outcast, to life was so fascinating. Jodi Harrison's interpretation of Joyce was another outstanding performance. One scene in particular was so convincing, I got chills while watching it unfold. All in all, this film was very well done and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
