This is the twelfth episode of the first season of 12 Monkeys. I also thought this was one of the best episodes this season because of the emotional connection the episode makes and the race against time to keep Cole away from the Army. The episode also explores the past and it answers some questions regarding Cole's young family life. It also helps we get to see a younger Jones in 2015 time.
In this episode, "Paradox," Cole is suffering side effects from splintering, so Railly must find a younger Jones to help Cole before the Army of the 12 Monkeys do so. In the process, Cole ends up meeting his father....once again.
Overall, this is one of the best episodes this season. It is not only action-packed, but it has an emotional core, something that the series was lacking on a regular basis. We are one episode away from the end of the season, so I cannot wait to see what happens next.
My Grade: A.
