Absolute Rubbish
gamecelt29 October 2016
This is one of those films the average movie watcher starts to think 5 or 10 minutes into the movie, 'This is crap...but I'll wait a little longer because the previous reviews are good so it MUST improve.' It does not. It stays crap all the way until the end.

So if you are an average movie watcher who just wants to see a good film buy yourself a bottle of wine, popcorn, crisps or whatever takes your fancy and what something else. Or, don't believe me and start to watch this then 5 or 10 minutes in you'll think back to my review and the words, 'Bloody hell he was right!' will pop into your head.

I was going to stop the movie half way through but I just had to finish it to give an honest grassroots viewpoint.

Lift the veil of reality
nogodnomasters12 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Three years after the death of his wife Isabella (Carlyne Fournier), Frank (David Graziano) gets a letter from her which he shares with his nephew Tommy (Justin Thibault). Frank sees a mystic (Irina Peligrad) gets a warning, is on medication, then tosses it, then gets visited by a Succubus, all told to him in his dream by a guy in a black suit and red tie.

The acting was the horrific part of the film had it not been for the dialogue. The camera work had room for improvement. The lone bright spot was Wendy (Jessy Rowe). The ending was messed up. It should have tied things together, with Frank being delusional and a killer, but it didn't. Instead none of it made sense.

Worth one punch on the Hacker's card if you make it all the way thru.

Guide: F-word, sex. No nudity.

Delusion -Frustration
greenquarks7 November 2016
Plus: First 25 minutes of the 'story'. Good looking bad girl.

Minus: Music-Live audio Ending of the story. Especially the unnecessary screaming. Poor acting. Slow pace of the movie. Everything else.

Do not watch. Looked like a school kid's movie project out of a handy cam. Total disaster. This could have been a better movie with a good story ending, good actors and some CGI. However, no efforts have been put to improve the quality of the movie. The script were tolerable and not too bad. In short, there is nothing in this movie to spend 100 minutes. Better off watching couple episodes of your favorite sitcom reruns!

If you like creepy supernatural thrillers or fantasy horrors like I do, definitely check this one out

I was genuinely surprised by this film. Its starts slow but stick with it. In the first 15 mins it's mainly an introduction to the lead character, a man called Frank who soon finds himself on a bizarre journey to find his dead ( or is she ) wife.

As noted by some other reviews, the quality of acting does vary, but it's never a distraction. In fact, the characters are excellent and this is one of the highlights of the film. The super natural element of the plot really adds another dimension - quite literally in some places. One moment it feels like a crime drama and the next moment you are well and truly down the rabbit hole and introduced to new weird and wonderful characters.

The use of varied locations and imaginative set design and blocking means that the scenes never outstay their welcome. The shooting style is understated and effective. The audience is never told or shown something they already know, which is a testament to the skill of the Director.

It's certainly not for everyone, but if you like creepy supernatural thrillers or fantasy horrors like I do, definitely check this one out.

I look forward to seeing what this team come up with in the future.

A Great Horror Movie with Depth
billzimmerly20 October 2016
Superb story, cinematography, and acting! I really Really REALLY enjoyed watching this movie. Kudos all around and especially to David Graziano, for his performance as "Frank." He had me in tears when he was by the lake-shore spreading his beloved's ashes.

I liked how the movie went back and forth between beautiful outdoor scenes (complete with natural sounds) and dark, fearful scenes. They seemed to reflect the mood of the main character (Graziano) at the moment - it was an excellent touch.

I'm normally not a fan of the "Horror" genre, but this movie had enough depth to it to please me.

Nice piece of surreal cinema!
rossikathy20 October 2016
This was a well made film It surprised me at just how good it really was. I have seen a film from this director before and like it so maybe it shouldn't have caught me off guard. Anyways I thought the acting was good all around. The cinematography was very good too. I love the scenes with Mary. They get real dark and take a turn that I wasn't expecting at all. That actor gave a strong performance. Delusion makes you think and it doesn't give you the answers right away but slowly reveals it's secrets. I loved the Neo noir feel it worked with this story and it's atmosphere. I'm a fan of surreal cinema and physiological films so this worked for me. I would recommend this film.

The Best Indie horror film out there.
daredevil16891 April 2018
Happened to see the film on Amazon and I was honestly blown away by it's acting and directing. Seems to me the director took inspiration from the great horror directors of yesteryear. Most horror films out there are worthless and not worth your time, Even by Hollywood standards but Delusion holds up and should by seen by anyone who considers themselves a horror film buff.
