Being positive, but what else?
lor_12 December 2021
Erika Lust represents a movement, albeit unsuccessful, to counter the trend of pornography toward "evil", i.e., opposing porn that promotes misogyny and nastiness, as evident in the prevalence of so-called "gonzo" content that constitutes 99% of current Adult visual entertainment. This first grouping of her ongoing "XConfessions" series, based on ideas submitted by her fans, is quite disppointing, reducing explicit sex to fatuous attempts at artiness.

One segment titled "I Fu*king Love Ikea" amounts to little more than an X-rated, bloated (at 11 minutes long) Ikea commercial. A beauty (Carol Vega) sunbathing is clearly obsessed with Ikea furniture, as she watches lustily as her man (Cristen Frei) tries to assemble a piece of that company's furniture. Even the Ikea catalogue she's reading turns into a sex magazine. They make love, ending with his money shot, and surely if this were televised uncensored (perhaps in Scandinavia?) sales would likely soar. But other than the title inspiring a moment or two of humor, this is vapid porn.

But it is "positive" in the sense intended. But that is hardly justification for tripe, covering various fetishes, like this. Another scene has a woman pegging her male lover with her strap-on dildo; one sequence consists of a guy sucking on a dildo on a park bench as if it were a Popsicle, etc. Even a creative scene of Juan Lucho as a taskmaster leading an exercise class is a one-joke wonder: class ties him up and has an orgy, which he's "forced" to watch, resulting in Juan exhibiting a boner in his shorts by scene's end.

There are lovely ladies on view, particularly Sicilia in "Obsessed", cute redhead Amarna Miller in "Sit Down, Shut Up and Watch" (a "positive" twist on the familiar Cuckold genre), and busty bucktoothed Miriam Prado in the oddly spelled (reminding me of how wrong letters are intentionally inserted in listings to avoid easy censorship using searches) "I'm a Verry Badx Secvretary".

Dumbest unintentional self-satire is evident in "My First Time Eating Oysters...and Pussy", in which a lesbian couple makes love, intercut with a woman fondling a champagne bottle and shucking oysters. It ends with the champagne blasted onto a nipple, contrasted with a woman squirting -how creative!-Not.
