BS-du-jour: The door is solid steel, says the professor of PSYCHIATRY looking at a vault door. And this tired cliché roams from movie to movie, from show to show. Steel doors are NOT made of steel!!! It would be too heavy and impossible to manufacture. Those huge vault doors you (almost never) see are made of... CONCRETE! It's a metal frame filled with sand, cement and water! DUH!
Add to that an absolutely disgusting portrayal of Alzheimer patients. I honestly don't know if they walk around naked in front of strangers, but it simply cannot be their defining feature. AND Alzheimer disease doesn't progress from perfectly normal to totally incapacitated in a WEEK. Shame on writers. Shame on ABC. Shame on actors who participated in this.
Oh, the show? The show is crap. Total crap. Some pseudo-science nonsense that slightly above average actors are trying to play beyond their abilities. It's slightly better than "Fringe" but not by much.
