I gave 2 beacause its a movie and they put together the scenes. In the end I did not see any purpose to this. I saw one of the endings, the pointless one. The movie does not show any true drama, all of the touching points are undeveloped. Nor the family issue, not the pedophilia or the mental disorder are the point of the story. It could have been made as a real bad drama, but it wasn't. The dialogue is not convincing and the insanity of the girls is the only thing that is fully mature. It is not even a horror movie or scary. It is embarrassing, that is for sure.

Effective genre film that becomes its own

Sorority girls messing with the occult? Seems like a horror movie cliché, and indeed this short film leans into the genre in a way that could have seemed lazy, but in actuality works well to get viewers into the right place simply by virtue of familiarity. From here it plays with the viewer a bit before becoming its own beast and delivering some decent tension and scares. The performances match this approach well, playing up 'college girl sexy' with varieties of naïve and alpha within that. The structure allows for delivery of jumps, release, then build again, and when the special effects come, they are really well done and very effective.
It is a genre short, but it is a very good one, that rises above what it appears to be at first.

more than game

A game being more. First - a not inspired joke. Than- the cruel truth. Three girls in evening, a door with pentagram and necklace of the killed aunt of one and , against warnings, the clash between the world of deads and alives. With terrible consequences. An inspired short horror , admirable for inspired construction.
