This whole arc was just boring fights one after the another. Fights in it self were good, but when you put same enemies against each other so many times it makes me just jump the whole scene to the conclusion. How many times you have to watch those useless bankais achieve nothing at all?
Same happened with the major villain. He got defeated many times and with plot armor he ran away with some miraclous new thingies/skills/whateva he just happend to have. You think old man would level this kind of villain if he wants to and gets serious from the start, but like many times before in every anime there is, you just dont use your full powers untill you get beaten to pulp.
Kageroza as a boss villain didnt give any awesome wibes, as he was just a scientist and with some plot twist became uber powerfull giving hard time to whole 13 divisions...what a joke. Tell me, how can you dodge and twirl your weapon if you get attacked by many fast moving/attacking opponents from different directions. One trick pony cant, but with plot armor you can.
All in all, I mainly fastforwarded whole arc because that repetance made it painfull to watch.
