Vanessa Kachadurian recommends "Aram Aram"

What can I say except this is a fascinating film about a young Armenian boy sent to America to live with his grandfather. Veteran Armenian Actor who won the equivalent to the LifeTime Achievement Academy Award in Armenia plays the charming yet wise grandfather, Mr. Levon Sharafyan. Its never easy for any child to leave their country under challenging conditions to live in another country. There is some great interactions with the grandfather and Aram, about happiness, fitting in, staying true to your beliefs and culture. Its a classic story of good vs. bad and love vs. hate. Filmed in Little Armenia of Los Angeles, CA a glimpse inside the struggles of new immigrants.

Really good movie. It's about an Armenian kid called Aram and his grandfather in Little Armenia. Really strong showing the problems between old generation and new generation in the immigrant family

What surprised me the most is this, it is the first time I've seen an American movie made by an American guy where the actors are all Armenian - they are incredible Actors!

The film has a lot of emotion - specially at the ending. Yeah the ending is really, really good (the chase at the end almost gave my uncle a heart attack) but you gotta see it for the amazing talented Acting.
