Sex & Nudity

  • No sex. Whereas the extent of the nudity is a brief shot of full rear nudity of man.
  • A man entering a bathroom neglects to close the door behind himself as he pulls away his trousers (with which he had been "going commando"), thus briefly exposing his bare behind.
  • A pair of young boys can be seen wearing nothing but wet, dark boxer underpants (not actual swim gear), which due to the wetness renders an innocent but very slight form-fitting effect.

Violence & Gore

  • No gore. Whereas the extent of the violence is that of some scenes of automobile colliding with person, aiming of handgun at person, non-lethal projectile strikes and non-injurious melee contact; involving adolescent children.
  • A man slaps a young boy across face. The boy can later be seen sobbing (and more so on account of his situation than physical pain).
  • In two instances, a plain clothes policeman is struck in the head by a large pebble/marble cast by a slingshot wielded by a young teenage girl. In one of these, the man has a handgun drawn before being knocked to the ground, dropping the handgun in the process.
  • Two men break into dimly-lit apartment, swiftly seize the man living there, while the child living there manages to escape.
  • In a sudden, quick and brutal event, a man is struck by a car, his body rolling up along the hood and smashing into the windshield before sliding back down the hood and onto the pavement. While immediately rendered incapacitated, he movies slightly, as if to try to rise up off the pavement. Even though there is no gore, the shot is very graphic.
  • A man points a handgun at an unarmed child. A child points a handgun at an unarmed man, after having discharged at no target while out of frame.
  • A child is almost run over by car, but the contact therewith does not lead to injury. Instead the driver's intended target, an adult, winds up being falling to the pavement yet without suffering any injuries.
  • Unarmed children being chased down by armed adults is something of a theme of this movie. At some point, an adult and a child are also held hostage.

Profanity

  • An adolescent child says, "What the fuck." Two adolescent children each express the middle finger gesture with both fists, at some older adolescents. A man utters a phrase that translates to "What the hell?".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • No smoking or drugs. No intoxication. In just one scene, a man pours champagne into a wine glass and drinks it, while dining with youths. Earlier he can be seen with a wine glass in his hand filled with a fizzy liquid.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The violent scenes are somewhat frightening, and at the very least, they are intense.
  • A scene of confrontation between an adult and child takes place on a wide catwalk high above large foundry vat of bright molten metal.
  • The home invasion scene is kicked off with brief jump scare, complete with a thrill-themed musical score.
  • There is a car chase along a scenic road, followed by a foot chase in the woods, both involving somewhat menacing, tattoo-laden, plain clothes policemen in hot pursuit.
  • A woman transfers custody of her adolescent child to the child's father and subsequently practically abandons the child.
