Variety Fun

This show was unfairly overlooked when it came out in 1976. Produced by Bob Einstein ("Superdave") it featured some great comedy that still holds up today. This episode's highlights include guest star Carol Burnet doing mime with Van Dyke, Andy Kaufman getting audience members to lip sync a "Old McDonald" record with him, KC and the Sunshine Band, and a quick cameo by Harvey Korman as Burnet's driver.

This show was really well done and deserved the Emmy it won for best variety show. I watched it when it first aired and am glad to see it still holds up today. I have no idea why nobody else watched it at the time.

Great TV

Andy Kaufman delivers again. Carol Burnett was hilarious. Can't believe nobody watched this show. See a young Woody Harrelson as an audience member who comes on stage during Andy Kaufman..Thank you Get TV for these oldies. Dick Van Dyke was very talented and personable. A true legend. Life was so much simpler then.
