Completely BLOWN away!!
and_mikkelsen7 December 2023
How can Shibuya still go THIS HARD? That was my first thought after watching this episode! This was just incredible and some of the best of the season, even after "The sukuna episodes"

The episode had its emotional moments! I felt really bad for Itadori! Seeing him brake down, loosing it completely cause off all those he witnessed dying! He saw his close friends and the people in Shibuya get massacered.. not being able to save any of them! Going back to the very first episode, this is among the worst that could happen to him! His VA sounded like he was in actual pain!

The scene with Miwa and Mechamaru was equally heartbraking! Damn the emotions and pain in this season does not end!

The action was TOP NOTCH!! Absolutely incredible and I have no idea how the animators can keep up and deliver something THIS good! I was left breathless multiple times!

Mahito has truely become a detastable villain!

Next week looks to be even more insane? How? I cant wait!

Not every fight can be perfect in an anime but JJK is the exception!
sherjan-aamir7 December 2023
Jujutsu Kaisen has been knocking it out of the park with each passing episode this season. The animation, voice acting and music score has elevated the manga to 120% of its potential. There are moments which are often hyped by the manga community and so it is often difficult for the anime adaptation to deliver which is understandable but this is not the case with JJK as it delivered on each and everything in this episode.

Lastly, I can't stress how much praise the JJK deserves. They have been worked to their bone through harsh treatment and unrealistic expectations and yet, they still pushed through. They deserve all the flowers and not the greedy execs at Mappa.

Here's to a fantastic last stretch of this masterpiece of an anime arc.

My Brother

I don't know what stuff people are on who complain the animation is bad keep me away from that stuff cause this season has been nothing but crazy demonstration of talented and passionate people the best of the best going all in and its a goddamn treat. I know the working condition at the studio sucks but that doesnt take away from the fact that we have been getting peak animation every single episode like you crazy no other show has this crazy animation every single episode. And this episode was no exception, What a beautiful episode so hype with the entry of "My brother" i was jumping and screaming.

I cant think of a reason not to enjoy this amazing show. I am resisting so much not to read the manga i might give in by the end of this season its so gooooood.

120% Potential...
Mxdaraa8 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This... this was probably, besides the Sukuna vs Jogo Episode, my most anticipated Episode. Yuji is probably my favorite JJK character, just because of how much more relatable he feels compared to other fan favorites like Gojo or Toji (although I also really like them as well as characters) and seeing him break down at the beginning of the episode... hurt... but when Todo arrived I swear I jumped out of my seat yelling in hype. The whole fight sequence was perfect. And that manga Panel... they adapted it prefectly... I'm not really sure how I feel about the Miwa scene... it was well done but it felt out of place, but besides that, the episode was perfect. And big props to Yuji's and Mahito's voice actors. I swear if anyone says "Mappa fumbled" I'm gonna lose it. See ya next week. Where you go I go...

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

Warning: Spoilers
Right now this is my favorite episode of the entire series, the emotions, the animation, the voices of the actors, everything is elevated to the next level. As the episodes progress, I have to say that Itadori becomes one of my favorite characters in the series and in anime in general. The emotions behind this character are incredible and his development feels so natural. On the other hand, Everything is an incredible character and serving as emotional support for Yuji is beautiful, every word spoken by him is simply art, and what can we say about Mahito, he is a great villain and his dynamic with Itadori is unique and amazing,

We are the exception

One of the best, if not the best Jujutsu Kaisen episode yet.

The animators at Mappa once again outdoing themselves with the beautiful animation, Mahitos voice actor absolutely putting on such an amazing performance, the emotion this episode, the uplifting nature of a certain character this episode, etc all make this episode one of a kind.

Literally zero complaints, this episode was adapted perfectly. You can tell everyone heart & soul went into crafting this episode. I personally can't put it over 2x9 (My favorite episode) but I can definitely see it being better.

Just pure art, only way to describe it. Will be rewatching 100%

10/10.

An emotional rollercoaster
ViktoriaMa8 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode had everything that makes jujutsu Kaisen special.

From the heartwarming flashback between the first year trio with Gojo Sensei showing how close they all got in just a span of 5-6 months to the devastating transition back to the present situtuation with Yuji and Nobara, to Yuji's resolve finally reaching his limit and having a panic attack, to Mahito's speech about Yuji's naïveté and a bit of hypocrisy, to Todo's epic entrance to provide not only Yuji with reprieve but also us the audience, to Yuji's gut wrenching breakdown, to Todo's speech to reinstate Yuji's resolve, to Yuji regaining his composure and vowing to carry on the burdens and sufferings of his fallen comrades, to the epic barrages of black flashes and dope usage of mahito's CT and creative use of environment and background to flesh out the fight choreography even better, to the beautiful performances of all the voice actors involved.

Need I say more? This was everything jujutsu Kaisen can offer at one of its very best moments. It provided me with a plethora of emotions I am yet to recover from.

This episode was, spectacular.

This is the best episode I've ever seen of Jujutsu Kaisen, likely one of the best anime episodes that I've ever watched.

The way that MAPPA had adapted the manga panels were amazing.

The animation for the final battle scene leading up to Todo's black flash was spectacular. The rock Itadori had thrown going into hyperspeed which then Todo had boogie-woogied. The animation was truly beautiful, so much so that it had made me cry.

Yuji Itadori's Japanese VA is extremely skilled at what he does. I could hear his voice cracking up when he was talking to Todo at the beginning of the episode about how he couldn't stop what he had done, how he was a murderer.

Overall, this is one of my favorite anime episodes of all time. Masterpiece of an anime, 10/10.

W Episode my Brother!!
abdellahressal7 December 2023
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 continues to captivate audiences with its latest episode, and let me tell you, it's an absolute masterpiece! From the first frame to the last, Episode 20 delivers an exhilarating blend of heart-pounding action, compelling storytelling, and a jaw-dropping conclusion that leaves fans craving for more.

The highlight of this episode undoubtedly lies in its epic fight scene. The animation quality and choreography are nothing short of phenomenal, bringing the intense battles to life in a way that leaves you on the edge of your seat. The fluidity of the movements, combined with the dynamic camera angles, makes every punch, kick, and supernatural attack a visual feast for the eyes. Jujutsu Kaisen has always excelled in its animation, but this episode takes it to a whole new level, setting a standard that other anime should aspire to.

But it's not just about the flashy combat; the story development in this episode is equally impressive. We witness character growth, unexpected alliances, and shocking revelations that add depth to the overarching narrative. Jujutsu Kaisen doesn't just rely on its action sequences; it weaves a compelling tale that keeps viewers invested in the fates of its characters. The pacing is spot-on, balancing intense battles with moments of character reflection and interaction.

The episode's ending is nothing short of a mic drop. Without delving into spoilers, let me just say that the way it concludes leaves you clamoring for the next installment. The perfect blend of suspense, excitement, and a dash of mystery creates an irresistible urge to know what happens next. Jujutsu Kaisen has mastered the art of leaving its audience hungry for more, and this episode is a prime example of that skill.

In summary, Episode 20 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is a triumph. It's not just good; it's one of the coolest episodes of the season, showcasing the series at its absolute best. The combination of stellar animation, a gripping storyline, and a cliffhanger ending make it a standout episode that will be remembered by fans for a long time.

Peak fiction

Stunning characters with outstanding animation, VA's, and development. Much watch episode for any anime fan. You can feel the passion of the VA's and feel fully immersed.

I love how many traditional tropes are avoided and the character reactions are often relatable. Even if it seems weak, there is only so much a person can take.

I also have to give props to the writing and villains. Some of the best writing and villains in an anime series. Mahito and Yuji's VA deserve emmy nominations.

The train scene and initial flashback were implemented perfectly. I also loved the exact 1:1 manga panel at the end.

It's getting serious now
shaileshkharat-652818 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Just watched the episode twice now. Animation is as usual top knotch. I wish Todo showed up earlier, his presence adds an astonishing feel to the scenes.

Also liked the glimmer of hope that they gave us about Nobara, hope she makes a comeback.

The angle with Mechamaru, for me, feels a bit forced. Je wasn't even enough screen time for me to care about him.

Itadori is a fascinating character, the voice acting was sublime for the scenes where Itadori is enduring extreme pain. I still feel there's a lot that needs to be done by him. He needs to somehow harness the Sukuna energy but maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. For now I'll just enjoy what's being served.

I'm in hysterical shock right now

Wow.. just wow.. the best episode in the history of this anime for sure.. I am literally blown away.. in terms of production.. visual sterilization.. in terms of combat.. a dramatic masterpiece in an iconic style produced in another level.. an episode that surpassed Anime films cost millions in terms of production.. just How ?? .. How is it possible for a human being to make this.. Todo's intervention, fighting, directing, and merging the ending song with the last scene, and madness after madness after madness.. The philosophy of loss, psychological pain, and inability.. Todo's dialogue with Yugi And how did it motivate him? That scene will remain immortalized in my memory forever.. I am currently speechless because I still have not understood what I saw a while ago.. Even 10/10 is not enough.. What a masterpiece.🔥👑
