For anyone wondering if Sponsor Tripped is an episode worth watching, I would definitely recommend yes.
The episode starts with Lynn and her team winning a soccer match, which gets the attention of Burpin' Burger manager Andre who wants to sponsor Lynn, offering free meals as it's perk. Lynn tries to get her friends sponsored as well (acknowledging them as fellow all-stars), but when Andre said he could only sponsor one of them, Lynn comes up with an idea to get her friends sponsored by multiple businesses so they can get lots of free stuff, and they sure looked very fun.
But then comes the trouble with sponsorships, as the sponsors make Lynn and friends use promotional items during their championship game, which I'm very sure should NOT be allowed especially since all they do is impede the girls during their game, which would be bad for their businesses, but I guess there had to be some conflict.
After a humiliating first round, Lynn and her team decided the free perks were not worth it if it meant losing the game, and quit their sponsorship deals and threw away the promotional items, now able to go from 0-6 to a 7-6 very quickly, winning the game.
Aside from the sponsors being dumb, I enjoyed this fun episode, it is certainly one of Lynn's greater episodes and for now my favorite episode of season 7. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for an episode that has a nicely written portrayal of Lynn.
