My review of Jimmy Kimmel show, I attended on 5/17/2013

Although I have watched many of Jimmy Kimmel's shows on T.V., I attended my first Jimmy Kimmel Live Show on 5/17/2013.

I arrived at the check-in, at the El Capitan Theater, on Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, California at 2:30 P.M. We had to stand out front until 5:45 P.M., after receiving our arm bands around 4:00 P.M.(suggestion to Jimmy, why not improve the fan experience by issuing arm bands with a number representing your place in line, immediately upon arrival, which is similar to what Conan O'Brien does. Then we could leave and return by 5:30 P.M., instead of being forced to stand out front for over 3 hrs. and feeling as if we fans are not respected and that our time is not important. Conan has seating for all that wait, in a shaded area, which we greatly appreciated).

After we were seated, Link gave us the rules of the game. He has a great personality (Jimmy another suggestion is let Link be the warm-up man, too. Your long time employee, that is introduced as the greatest warm-up man, is not even close. His jokes and routine are stale, bordering on a snooze fest. Link did a better job getting us to listen and respond. If you really want to see and hear one of the best warm-up men, check out Jimmy on the Conan Show. He is quick, witty and keeps you on your toes, not wishing you had a pillow with JKL's Bedtime Story Teller).

Loved your show. Adam Levine and Alice Eve were great guests. Your skits were entertaining, minus the one with the supposed Hipster. Sorry, but it was Boring. I was very impressed with your interviewing skills, how you listen to your guests and appear to spontaneously respond with followup questions, not just read a list of questions. Your band is very good and I really enjoyed their music. The bass was so good, it vibrated the floor and seat beneath me.

I did not care for the guest band's music, but that may be because I am 65 years old.

Overall, I really enjoyed your show but would enjoy it more if you could make the fan experience improvements.
