Gojo Satoru VS Toji Fushiguro.., The Crazy Part just started!
TomiMaster1420 July 2023
JuJutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 3: "Hidden Inventory Part 3" - JJK Second season has officially been started!

It all seemed too happy in the first half of the episode, that you can tell something huge was going to go down, since nothing goes that swimmingly. And yeah everything went bad so fast.

MAPPA did a very good job on that fight scene between Gojo and Toji. The animation, the style, the camera movements was really cool, and this is just episode 3 people. Toji is a whole menace. He killed more than just the beautiful moment. His character set so many things in motion. Kinda crazy! This flashback is already great.

And at the end..., that cliffhanger was good not gonna lie...

It was a bit unexpected, and also overall was a very good episode.

Seems like the beginning of something special, and as an anime-only, it's truly exciting.

Simply loving it!

It's really picking up! The animation is awesome once again (seriously, those animations and eye colors are stunning!), and those extra scenes just nailed it. I mean, getting those character point-of-view shots and throwing in some fresh elements in the JJK world, that's a win - it brought in some serious authenticity and showed the element of surprise of the characters. The voice actors' performances are top-notch, as the animators' and directors' work in creating the scenes. For me, another excellent episode, and there's nothing to criticize about the arc focusing on Satoru's time as a student.

Just Mind-blowing!!!

I have not seen such top notch level of Animation in my entire Life (literally).

This Episode is standalone masterpiece and carries the Hidden Inventory Arc's Soul.

In every aspect this episode stands out.. be it Animation, be it Voice-over, be it the Plot, and last but not the least.. BGM.

This very Episode goes beyond one's imagination.. Manga taken as reference.. you just wouldn't believe if you put manga and anime side by side.

I have immense respect for Gege, but the way this anime adaptation executed everything..

MAPPA Studios did it!

I'm really really moved.

Hope they keep up their Work!

Summer Is Over!

A happy-go-lucky "beach episode" turns bloody real fast

No sol/rom com without a beach episode. Told ya it would be lighthearted :P Probably my favorite anime beach episode. Teen Gojo using protecting Riko as an excuse to have some fun. We get to meet our Senpai Nanamin Kento in his teens. He always has some weird stuff to say

Love how Gojo's eyes glowing equals his infinity is activated. That helps understanding that moment, freaking Toji was there with them the entire time (bet he had some fun too in the sea).

Gojo is back eating all budget of the show!

I'm in shock, Toji is a whole menace. He killed more than just the beautiful moment. His character set so many things in motion. Crazy! This flashback is an emotional rollercoaster.

This just went THROUGH THE ROOF!!

I am completely speachless after this episode! So much happening out of knowhere that I am still processing what just went down! It reminded me of "Gunfire" from Chainsaw Man.. how things got really serious really fast! One scene is happy and In a flash.. that all changes!

Everything in this episode was next level with some of the best animation in the series! You can tell how passionate the creators are with this project! Toji just became a huge threat and I have no idea how this will end!

This episode was an emotional rollercoaster! I was shocked and destroyed!

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 has OFFICIALLY STARTED!! My god...

Mappa 🔥🔥🔥🔥
mizaanmaner21 July 2023
I can't believe Mappa did it once again and proved themselves, I thought we would seed a dip in quality due to the change of director and schedule but somehow they managed to surpass the first season without any dip in quality this ep was peak 🔥🔥

It literally elevated the source material and nailed it Jjk couldn't have got any better treatment than this Even the sol part was done justice not a single moment felt like it was bad or low budget everything right from the starting to the end of the ep was high quality even the ost was too good and animation it was even better.

Couldn't have asked for anything better than this Thank u Mappa!

Almost perfect, great action, strong emotional core

Whatever will our heroes do with Riko's caretaker kidnapped? Who cares, we're going to the beach baby! Riko is enjoying her last days before erasure, Gojo is stressing himself out to keep her alive, and things seem to have calmed down. But as emotions run wild in Riko and Gojo reaches the end of his rope, what will the sorcerer killer do? And can anyone really stop Satoru Gojo?

YES! THIS IS IT BABY! EVERYTHING I WANTED! The lack of a narrator is a massive issue for this arc in particular since we don't get to know much about Toji's hidden inventory, Gojo's Six Eyes, etc. But once again it feels natural and as if we're standing in a developed world that we don't fully comprehend yet, and I have faith that later in the season these things will be more explained. This episode pulls no punches and gives us some of the most joyful and sorrowful experiences in this season yet and easily outdoes the manga in every way shape and form! The writing of Gojo, Geto, Riko, and her caretaker is amazing and they all feel so fleshed out and it makes everything they go through feel so much better and so much worse for it. The end of the last episode is resolved in no time and most of this episode is spent dealing with Toji's endgame or having fun with Riko and the gang, but I will say the early pacing is a bit off. That said, it's 1,000x better than the manga's pacing and actually never feels rushed so much as it feels a bit weird that this or that doesn't happen or that these characters appear but don't really do anything. The sad thing is that I can't really experience the twists this episode provides the way others will, but given how extreme my feelings were, I can only imagine what a first-time experience of this episode will be like without the manga to work off of. The ending is one of the greatest things I've ever seen, and to say I'm hyped moving forward now, without a doubt, is an understatement.

The acting in this episode is, funnily enough, the worst it's been this season. So it's gone from Ishtar to Gilgamesh in quality is what I mean. In other words it's still pretty much perfect with only a few minor faults, so don't worry, it's still 10's across the board no matter how you look at it. To say everyone gave the performance of their lives when it counted is a bigger understatement than anything else possibly could be. Literally all of our 5 most important characters gave their all to show the intensity and emotional nature of their lines when it mattered most and it shows so, so much. I have nothing else to say but that I am overjoyed.

Listen, I'm not gonna lie and say that the animation here is perfect. It's not. I have my issues with it's almost painfully off-model nature, especially during action scenes, but to say that it isn't freaking fantastic and that almost all my doubts about everything to come have been erased would be a lie straight out of hell. The Toji fight is freaking intense, Gojo's powers are so freaking beautiful and terrifying, the scenery freaking glistens, the eyes carry so much weight, the symbolism is so freaking powerful, and I can't stop thinking of things to gush about. The music in the beginning was a little annoying, but aside from that, the music was perfect, the split between the two halves of the episode was not quite perfect but I adored it, the tomb of the stars was beautiful, the forest and aquariums were amazing, the entirety of Jujutsu Tech was fantastic and watching it get wrecked wrecked me somewhere deep inside. I was slack jawed for most of the episode and trying to hold back a smile either of joy or terror the rest. The way this episode used off-model animation is easily the best yet and seeing the unnatural movements of Toji was amazing and made even better by just how distorted he would become as he moved. I have no real complaints here, nothing I can really add. I could go further about this or that but honestly it would be a spoiler and I can't stand the idea of doing that, I can't stand it. I can't go any further than tacking on here at the end that the use of Gojo's eyes throughout this episode was amazing and that it seems like they're just getting better looking as the episodes go on. I look forward to things going even more insane next episode, at least partially if nothing else.

All in all this episode is nearly perfect in every aspect with barely anything holding it down at all. It has a misstep here or there but they are minor at worst and none of them take away from the impact, beauty, sorrow, and horror of this episode. The action is godly, the animation is beautiful, the music breaks my heart, the writing too, and the joy this episode brings out rings so perfectly in my heart that the pain it brought out hurts my very soul. Every actor put their heart and soul into this episode, whoever wrote it too, and the people animating it. They made this episode special and it feels like a tribute to Riko, to our beloved star plasma vessel. This is going to be hard to top but next episode may well be able to and there are certainly incredible things to come as well, so we'll have to see how things go, but I can safely say that I am so, so freaking ready for this, for all of this. See you next episode, Toji. I just can't wait to see this.

PEAK EPISODE
david-6128821 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What can I say magnificent episode, magnificent ending, I can't wait to see the next episode, this was brutal, how we changed from a light tone to a dark one in minutes is surprising and brilliant. Toji is a threat, and now he's going to fight geto, i can't wait to see him too, but what worries me the most is how gojo will get out of this. As always the animation is incredible, the ost was also very attractive and effective for the moment, and the poor ending riko, she deserved better. That is brutal. Jujutsu kaisen returns with everything, and even though it gives much more to see, I can't wait.

Episodes till now
Delivers an intriguing episode that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish. The voice artists excel in bringing life to the characters, the story remains captivating, and the characters continue to impress. However, it falls short in the animation department compared to its predecessors.

One of the standout aspects of this episode is the impeccable work by the voice artists. Their performances elevate the characters and make them feel relatable, adding depth to the overall narrative. Each voice perfectly fits its respective character, making the emotional moments even more impactful. The pacing is just right, allowing enough time for character development while keeping the plot moving forward. The writing showcases the author's creativity and ability to maintain a coherent storyline, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next episode.

While the story maintains its excellence, the animation in this episode doesn't quite match the standards set by previous seasons. While some scenes still boast the characteristic fluidity and attention to detail, others fall short in terms of visual impact. Fans who were accustomed to the top-notch animation of previous seasons may find themselves slightly disappointed. However, it's essential to note that despite these shortcomings, the animation quality is still commendable compared to other series in the same genre.

On the character front, the episode manages to maintain the established personalities and dynamics while introducing new layers to some of the key players. Viewers get to witness growth and development in various characters, further strengthening their attachment to the series. The interactions between characters feel natural and contribute to the overall enjoyment of the episode.

Moreover, the addition of new characters brings a fresh perspective to the story, making it even more intriguing. These newcomers seamlessly integrate into the existing cast, leaving a lasting impression on viewers. Their introduction opens up new possibilities for future episodes, creating excitement and curiosity about what lies ahead for them.

Despite a few minor drawbacks in animations continues to deliver a gripping narrative that captivates audiences of all ages. The voice artists' exceptional performances, combined with a well-crafted story, ensure that fans stay invested in the series. The character development and the introduction of new faces keep the show engaging and pave the way for future adventures.

In conclusion, this episode successfully showcases the talents of its voice artists, maintaining a compelling story, and offering solid character development. Although the animation might not meet the lofty standards set by previous seasons, it remains commendable and enjoyable. With the groundwork laid in this episode, the future promises even more excitement, and fans eagerly await what's in store for their beloved characters.

Probably the best episode so far
tridibeshsarkar21 July 2023
It's one of the best of not the best episode in the history of anime .. the anime adaptation peaked the manga , and it's so incredible to be real .. the rotation shots of blue ,spoiler : the music during rikos death is all the best to be honest , chainsawman level adaptation , Ok the episode contains a rollercoaster of emotions as we see gojo geto riko enjoying beach in the first half of the episode and things change all of a sudden as toji arrives. , Toji is one of the most anticipated character in today's Ani manga and he proves why it is .. the writer gege akatumi actually topped his writing this point and we will be getting Shibuya incident arc ,one of the best shonen arc in history of shonen manga ,so keep your seats tight and wait for the peak to happen.

Bad

Warning: Spoilers
Satoru Gojo, a key character in "Jujutsu Kaisen," is often celebrated for his immense power, charismatic personality, and significant role in the story. However, there are several reasons why some viewers might find Gojo to be a problematic or unappealing character.

**1. Overpowered Nature:** One of the most common criticisms of Gojo is that he is excessively overpowered. His abilities, particularly his Limitless technique and Six Eyes, make him nearly invincible. This imbalance can reduce the tension and stakes in the story because when Gojo is involved, victory often feels guaranteed. His overwhelming power can overshadow other characters, making their struggles and growth seem less significant.

**2. Lack of Vulnerability:** Gojo's near-invincibility also means he rarely faces genuine danger or defeat. This lack of vulnerability can make him less relatable and less compelling as a character. Readers and viewers often connect more deeply with characters who face and overcome personal challenges and weaknesses. Gojo's apparent invincibility limits his emotional depth and development.

**3. Overshadowing Other Characters:** Gojo's prominence and power can overshadow other characters in the series. His presence often takes the spotlight away from the development and achievements of the main protagonists like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. This can lead to an imbalance in the narrative where the focus shifts too heavily towards Gojo, potentially diminishing the growth and importance of other key characters.
