What an Amazing Show!

Waw! Simply waw!!

I loved this mini series from the first episode up until the last. The acting was very well executed from decent actors. I feel proud of this production and i hope they keep coming up with such projects.

You will be intrigued and the series will keep you interested up until the end!

The story is somewhat depressing and sad! The shock factor is definitely there and will keep you on the edge of your toes!

Finally, i would like praise the main actor and actress. What an amazing performance! A definite must watch and a very enjoyable mini series that is suitable for everyone to enjoy!!

Waste of time

The whole plot was a mess. No scenario and no properly written script. The plot twist was fantastic but due to the terrible writing and unrealistic plot developments it was weak. I loved the cast so much but I hated every single word the utter with since it was totally not cohesive. The development between characters as well was very weak and all characters had to have a back story solely dedicated to them. This was an evidence of lazy writing tbh. I do not need to know how ever single character is suffering in the same exact way. In addition, I think its totally unrealistic depiction of the court of law in Kuwait. Mainly because the lazy writing strikes again.

I only gave it two because of the plot twist and cast which were actually ruined by this mess.

Very Engaging Netflix Series produced by Kuwait Film Industry
philipthomas-8514224 July 2023
The Netflix series 7 episodes are very engaging throughout, all characters were executed very well and above expectations, lead actress (Haya Abdulsalaam), lead actor (Ali Kakuli) performed exceedingly well with their acting abilities and within given storylines The Direction and Cinematography was great...never felt bored throughout the 7 Episodes.

The Kuwaiti actors ,actress, support actors / actresses all have great screen presence and wish them the best in future career possibilities and other Industries (Bollywood and Holywood) with their counter parts (top actors, directors, producters.

Shockingly bad

There are some fantastic Arabic shows, films and series from countries as diverse as Egypt, Morocco and Syria. I've never seen a Kuwaiti series before and on the evidence of this one, I shan't hurry to watch another one. Part of the problem is societal and pertains to local morality. Even husbands and wives don't kiss each other and barely touch. People in love, even if they're about to get married have to keep more than a yard away from each other on the screen. Dialogue is stilted and loquacious at the same time. Nothing rings true or is passionate.

The whole plot was risible. There's no way Bader would even have been arrested let alone remanded for the murder even in a system as averse to justice as Kuwait's; there was no evidence at all against him. And even if there had been evidence, as the captain of the leading local football club, the proof would have disappeared.

The "twist" that others have referred to was signalled a mile off and obvious as early as episode four. And, as a machiavellian sequence of events it was simply looby. It just wasn't credible that a jilting set all these wheels in motion.

The very final scene mirrored the first. But why? Captain Youssef was on the way, tipped off by the doughty reporter Houda. In between these incidents, the storyline meandered aimlessly, each zigzag less believable than the last.

Just a glancing thought, doesn't Bader look like a younger Kazem Al Saher?

Refreshing and engaging

Being lived in Kuwait so long I really loved this series. The way things are depicted it's very close to the real life situation in Kuwait.

Wonderful to watch and I would recommended this to be watched by someone even if they are not Arabic speaking, the fluid depiction will hardly need them to read subtitles.

I have not see the actors before but most of them so much relate to typical Kuwaitis and it makes this very interesting to watch.

Not much of melodrama but simple free flowing story and very real life type of feel. Many interesting emotions are there in the movie where the lead as well as the supporting characters are nicely linked.
