The series tied at 2-2, Championship-favourite Boston must be a little worried that Embiid's yet to explode thus far. The Celtics settling a lot and there shots falling short, while Philly's rolling, up 7 at the quarter break. Boston really struggling, no doubt feeling the pressure of expectation. Fortunate for the Celtics, Philly's bench unit starts missing. Grant Williams stupidly gives Embiid 4 straight free-throws though and Boston continue to miss 3's. They do score plenty at the line though, the Sixers up 9 at the half. Horford just can't make one, with Embiid playing off him and having no success defensively on him, unlike previous games. Embiid blocks White, Tatum recovers it and gets to the line once more. Harris and Maxey add fuel to the fire, Melton with a terrific steal on Tatum and transition hoop at a key moment. Tatum hits a contested 3, to cut the deficit to 16 going into the last. House gives the Sixers some good minutes in the 2nd half and Maxey puts Boston away. Philly up 3-2, really disliked the game of Robert Williams here too, played with absolutely no presence. The Sixers shot well, the Celtics didn't. Both teams took care of the ball, Philly +13 on the boards. Maxey with an efficient 30 points, 7 boards and just 1 turnover. Embiid 33 points, 7 boards and 4 blocks. Harden 17 points, 10 assists, 8 boards and 2 steals. Harris 16 points and 11 boards. For Boston, Tatum 36 points, 5 assists, 10 boards and 2 steals. Brown 24 points and 6 boards.
