Just full disclosure, I saw this in the theatre and everyone was 30 feet tall and awesome.
This concert film captures Clapton in a not so popular period. Maybe they call it his Armani period, I don't know. It seems Clapton is celebrated most from 1966-1977;1994-present. The 80s and early 90s seem to be skipped by most fans.
It was amazing to see Eric in his mid forties playing just 10/10 guitar. Everyone looks super cool, especially Nathan East.
Songs were great with many of the favorites plus some 80s gems that I am just currently beginning to appreciate. The finale was outstanding. I won't say what song he ends on, but you can probably guess. And it's actually the penultimate song, so you probably can't guess.
In short, if you're a Clapton fan, you'll love this concert film. If you're not, we'll why would you watch it anyway?
