Horror at its finest

Such a great story. A universe for all our horror TITANS. Great cast and directing. Lots of action and superb acting. 5 stars. Thank you Horrorverse. Aaron Carlson takes you from Haddonefield to Crystal Lake and back again. The characters are well built and lots of cameos (did I see Robert Lasardo?) Charles Lawson as "Hammer" is perfect. Aaron as "Bullet" is spot on. This series will have you on the edge of your seat. The special effects are also quite amazing. You can tell the attention to detail the whole cast and crew have and the passion for making these films. If you need a good scare definitely check out The Horrorverse.

Embarassing

What were they thinking when they made this? They clearly didn't have much money so why did they over reach and make something about the likes of Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers? They made themselves look bad by trying, they made the iconic characters look bad, they quite frankly insulted the fans with it so I ask again, what were the thinking?

The short films serve no purpose, they don't have a story to them and feel like filler and then the feature length ones are so badly made they demonstrate that nobody involved in their creation have any right to be in this industry!

Please, spare yourself the pain of watching this.

An honest review

After finding out about Horrorverse I was excited, what a fantastic concept merging all these different iconic horror and scifi characters/universes into one! I was disheartened when I discovered it was a no-budget indie fest but I've enjoyed countless indie movies and shorts so quickly shook it off.

I binge watched the whole lot, all the shorts and the films and I have to say it's an absolute embarassing mess.

So why? Well the actors I'm pretty sure aren't actually that, friends of the creators maybe? (With the exception of a couple of guest stars). Some are beyond bad, take the guy who plays Snake for example! Beyond cringe inducing!

The writing is laughable, as if it was written by a 12 year old. I'm not being mean, it just really is that bad.

Effects? Range from non-extent and they didn't even try due to the lack of budget to appalling and they shouldn't have tried.

How do they all connect? Badly, this is what happens when you try to make a universe out of such short pointless films.

Overall I cannot get my head around how bad it is, they failed on every concievable level.

So why is this titled an honest review. There is one other review, the trademark 10 star one that name drops and back pats people as well as coming from an account with absolutely NO other activity. What I'm trying to say is a faux review almost certainly by the creator or someone close to them.

In a world of thousands of horror shorts binge watch some of them and hop skip and jump over this abomination.
