The Horrorverse (2023– )
1/10
An honest review
15 May 2024
After finding out about Horrorverse I was excited, what a fantastic concept merging all these different iconic horror and scifi characters/universes into one! I was disheartened when I discovered it was a no-budget indie fest but I've enjoyed countless indie movies and shorts so quickly shook it off.

I binge watched the whole lot, all the shorts and the films and I have to say it's an absolute embarassing mess.

So why? Well the actors I'm pretty sure aren't actually that, friends of the creators maybe? (With the exception of a couple of guest stars). Some are beyond bad, take the guy who plays Snake for example! Beyond cringe inducing!

The writing is laughable, as if it was written by a 12 year old. I'm not being mean, it just really is that bad.

Effects? Range from non-extent and they didn't even try due to the lack of budget to appalling and they shouldn't have tried.

How do they all connect? Badly, this is what happens when you try to make a universe out of such short pointless films.

Overall I cannot get my head around how bad it is, they failed on every concievable level.

So why is this titled an honest review. There is one other review, the trademark 10 star one that name drops and back pats people as well as coming from an account with absolutely NO other activity. What I'm trying to say is a faux review almost certainly by the creator or someone close to them.

In a world of thousands of horror shorts binge watch some of them and hop skip and jump over this abomination.
