This Episode begins with Meredith and Derek, they are kissing with each other in bed. Cristina had sex with Owen in the morning. A giant gas tanker has exploded on a highway, victims of the accident have been brought to the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Elyse has been brought to the hospital, she is 37 weeks pregnant. Matthew protected a kid during the gas tanker explosion, he is wounded. Elyse her daughter has been born. But Elyse is still in danger. Elyse got a cardiac arrest, she has past away. Meredith discovered that Parker has the Kawasaki disease. Meredith wants to know if she gets alzheimer's in the future. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 9, a emotional Episode with a mother who dies but her baby survives.

This episode was great. It has tension and drama, aswell as emotional content to keep you hooked throughout. There was so much going on this episode and it reminds me of how grey's used to be, the storyline flowed and everything made sense. Season 9 is definitely one of the bests.

This episode is appalling. I know the supermom narrative is popular (because of course it is, everyone likes complements) but it has no place in a medical setting, and I understand that this is just a drama but it still supports this poor behaviour irl. Being a mother might give you instincts but it does not give you a medical degree. It's absolutely valid to consult a professional when your alarms start going off but don't then go and scream at them and throw away their advice because it's not what you want to hear. They know more than you, no discussion. The resolution of this plotline makes it seem like doctors are wrong and mommies know best every time which is just an absolute nonsense and encourages more harm than good.
