Ted Bundy Bottle Opener

The episode is still at the Comic Con in Las Vegas. The day after Dahlia jumped from the rooftop. Of course Ava and Nathan wonder if Matt killed her.

Matt denies it when he sees them but they remain unsure.

Later while wandering around the Comic Con. Matt figures out the crime sells. There is money in serial killers, you just need to produce regular content.

So the Westside Ripper announces that he is in Comic Con. A live podcast.

Some of the fantasy/trippy sequences were not needed or just confused matters.

There was some lazy writing. The reason that Ava and Nathan are doing a podcast is because crime sells. The one thing they are not doing is a podcast.

Warning: Spoilers
After a strong episode last time around they followed up with this episode. It just did not feel like it was in the same tone as the bulk of the show's voice and it did not feel like it was well thought out.

I am not sure what the end game for Based on a True Story is and if they can even wrap things up in the first season.

I feel like they're kind of venturing into other avenues and not focusing on what they should which is putting together the podcast. The fact that we have not even heard close to an entire episode of the podcast by this point is kind of hard for me t wrap my head around but I digress.

I'm Starting An I Hare Ruby Club.
I was already incredibly disgusted by her character and the actress who plays her- she's so insipid and slimy, and is so over-the-top campy and not worth a dime of her check.

This whole insanely gross plot device is worth seeing her done in very soon and with great pain and it can't happen soon enough.

Ruby seems to delight in ruining everything she touches and takes great and immense pride in what she destroys due to her lack of character and it's just gross.

This show had me until this point and I want to throw up now. It's bad enough the premise of the show but to destroy it like this is disappointing.
