A Deadly Storm is a fine epsiode, whilst I'd agree it's perhaps not the standard of the previous, which is a classic, it's still very good.
A great mix of humour, drama and mystery. The crime itself seems almost impossible, and nobody seems to possibly have a strong enough motive for the crime, it's such an interesting conclusion.
A top notch cast, Stephen Boxer is great, Ben Batt and Gemma Chan are perhaps a little underused, however it really is a wonderful episode for Richard and Camille, their scenes together are touching and very, very well acted.
I loved Richard's humour throughout, passing the storm off as a bit of rain.
Enjoyable, 8/10.
