Writers are terrible

Warning: Spoilers
There was finally a storyline with some suspense and promise and then this was the best conclusion they could come up with.. I don't think the writers understand what 160 IQ is lol because that was the most straightforward and predictable sequence of events. It should not have been that easy for them to piece together his plan and catch him. Like he was 10 steps ahead of them and literally stopped what he was doing to give them clues and help them catch up.. And the previews show that this story is wrapped up so I guess we just never find out what those squiggles mean even though that was a huge part of the entire storyline..

Greg Sanders is making a return next episode which is really exciting and that's truly the only highlight of the season so far.

A Disappointing Ending
hawkspride-470791 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So the Silver Ink Card Killer Arc (or whatever it's called) comes to an end and I just have one word to say about this: Disappointing. Honestly, they should have ended this Arc on the previous episode. But no, they had to drag it out for ONE more episode. My question is, why? I mean, they finally caught the guy that was responsible for the killings. But here's the shocker, he's not responsible for this! Someone else is pulling the strings. Oh no...

So, the mastermind turns out to be really smart and wants to kill anyone he deems inferior or not as smart as him. Which is why he wants to kill everyone at a mental hospital. And the threatening cars he made for the CSI team; he just wants to scare them and get them off his behind. A typical lame CSI villain. This guy is just forgettable. Best part is we never find out why he made those cards with the freaky writing. Penny even asks him and all he does is just smiles at her and gets locked away. So, we're to make an educated guess that he did it just for giggles. This ended just as bad as the Miniature Killer from the original series where they never fully discuss why Natalie killed those people. I had to look up on Wikipedia to find out more about the Miniature Killer and why she killed her victims.

Oh, and the Medical Examiner gets poisoned by the killer but I'm really not too crazy about her. Her attitude is just annoying. I like the Black M. E. who has temporarily replaced her. They should keep him and let her go.

Aside from the good acting, this episode is just disappointing. I'm adding the Silver Ink Killer to my list of Lame CSI villains. He's right there with the 333 Stalker from CSI: NY. 3.2/10.

Are CSI's immune to poison?
mqrtdpxa11 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Why at the end when they go to the hospital to find the killer. They suspect he will make it airborne through the air ducts.

WHY , WHY , don't they bring gas masks ?

They come in the hospital to arrest the killer. But if he pushes a button and releases the deadly gas , how are they not going to die ?

They say that the killer has an IQ of 160 . Well the CSI people must have one of 60 .

Also the woman in charge of the CSI UNIT is so stubborn in every episode. How many times do people reach out to help her and she turns them down every time. A good smart boss will know when they need help and take it when needed.
