Who writes this boloney?

Overall, my child loves Curious George and it's very toddler-friendly, so I can't complain. But am I justified in letting it bother me all the things that are so impractical about this show? This episode annoys me so much because the big problem of this episode is that Mr. Quint has only one boat key because his siblings lost the other 4. Now first of all, have they heard of something called a hardware store? Where they make copies of keys? For heaven's sake!! Secondly, how about having a floating key ring like most boat owners? Maybe, just maybe. And thirdly, if this is the only key and it's so important to keep track of it, why does the stupid yellow hat man entrust its keeping to a monkey who always screws things up? Just sayin'.
