AMAZINGLY REAL

This is a great film. If you need to be inspired about life then watch. It has inspired me to do better for my family and friends. The most surprising part was all the different struggles everyone had. Each person was real about those struggles, too. When things were going wrong they told you about it. After that, how they decided what they did to make things different. The message was so powerful my wife and I couldn't stop watching it. This film is great for all ages. Whenever I get the chance to show more people I will definitely make sure it is done. I'm already making time to watch it again.

Trials to Triumph is an amazing story filled with authenticity. Life is full of ups and downs and we all have them. For Freddie and the family to show their vulnerability of some of the situations that they been through in the past and how God brought them out of it is just breathtaking. It inspires me to keep going no matter what I'm going through because God got me, and whatever the devil meant for evil God will turn to good. This film is God Given and shows what God will do when we surrender our will to His. I recommend everyone to watch this film. It will change your life for good for the Glory of God!

Inspiring

This Documentary is well composed following Freddie Stevenson's journey from early age to now. He has faced ups and downs still pushed through Adversity with a positive attitude even while getting tested to turn to a dark path. It should inspire some you should never quit on yourself because do not let your struggles define a person only how you respond to them does.the documentry also show how important it is for a good support system through the struggles. From a LB to fullback to finding a purpose motivating others to to and be better. GOOD JOB to Freddie and everyone involved with this project.

Wow! This film is every bit of impactful for anyone doubting themselves or wanting to give up. I love how it's raw and uncut ; you feel like your sitting across from the speakers as they tell their story. Freddie overcame adversity but never strayed to far from Gods light and it shows throughout the film. I recommend this film to everyone and you won't be able to turn your gaze off it from start to finish! He's a humble guy and football was always his passion from the beginning. They're are stories from his teammates he played with at Florida state and perspectives from mental health psychologist.

Impactful Message!!!

This was such a great film that I could not look away. Freddie was able to capture his career and life struggles in a way that will lead and inspire others for many years to come. Bravo to Freddie and others who made it all special. So many, young and old, have been or might be in similar struggles of their own. Freddie and the others in this film give such an inspirational perceptive on what they learned from the low times and how they were able to grow from it. Be sure to watch it and share with others so the positive messages in this film will continue to spread and impact lives of those who may or may not have known they needed it.

Excellent Documentary

Very amazing documentary and a necessity for anyone considering life after sports. Loved every moment of this documentary so often we take life for granted and not think of those who count it as a blessing just to wake up and see the next day. It's amazing how life hits so hard and we forget about how hard it is to overcome. All the on looker see is what's in the spot light they don't see all the work and effort these young athletes put in and the many sacrifices the parents make to make sure their children are successful, from long days, to sleepless nights, to praying for your children, supporting them not only physically but emotionally as well!

This Documentary shared a ton of messages! Thoroughly enjoyed hearing sides of the story from so many!

It was a " can't miss any moment" documentary once my husband and I began watching it the better the story unfolded!

The way life unfolded for both the parents and Mr Stevenson plus Miss soon to be Mrs. Deja just AMAZING!

Hearing all he went through with the injury as well was so heart breaking but hearing his beautiful mom stating she prayed for him and just watching the support and it all unfold 🙏🏼🙌🏼 I give this a 10 out of 10 will definitely recommend

Inspirational

Thank you for sharing your story. This film will show you that it doesn't matter where you start, all that matters is where you're going. Everyone's path will not be the same. Freddy's path was not traditional but he was able to make the most of it. His book trial to triumph was extremely inspirational and the film was no less. I recommend this film to all athletes. Your plan may not go as you originally intended, but with grit, hard work and perseverance you just never know where you will end up. I want to thank Freddy and all of the athletes that were featured for sharing their stories. I'm glad I gave it a watch.

This is a MUST WATCH film! It is an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows, with an amazing ending for Freddie and Dasia. So many great stories of trials and triumphs in this one documentary. A lot of people would have quit and taken the easier path, but Freddie put himself back on track and fought through every obstacle in his path. His Dad is a pretty amazing story and a very charismatic character! Freddie's Mom was a protector, teacher, and a provider for her family. She's the kind of lady you would always want on your side. Freddie, Dasia, Mr. & Mrs. Stevenson, Maurice Benard, Delvin Breaux, Tony Gaskins, Ryan Green, Tyrell Lyons, and others - all keeping it real and sharing their stories. Take the time, sit down with the whole family, and watch this incredible journey of trials to triumph!

Amazing Story

I have always been an FSU fan and that how I knew who Freddie Stevenson was. Seeing the story of Freddie and what he went thru has made him one of my all time favorites. What he went thru and what God has done in his life is truest amazing. God put all these things in Freddie's path to become stronger and to be the man and inspiration he is today. Great movie. Truest remarkable story on not just him but what God has done to those around him from his parents to other ex teammates. I look forward to seeing where Freddie's next chapter of life takes him in this remarkable journey. I hope his story helps many many more to come.

This documentary was very inspiring for the past, today, and future generations! It was that if a person just believe and have a little faith. They will be able to do what God put them on this earth to do. I like how Freddie told his story, added more perspective of other people's views and experiences! There is always someone going through the exact thing you are going through. This film should be use as a teaching tool in middle and high schools, especially amongst athletes. Like Freddie said... He may not be able to touch everybody, but if I touch one. That's all he needs. Freddie continue sharing your purpose and gifts with others. Thank you!
