As our guy bumbles around trying to get his memory back, his old buddy is out there pretending to help him out. Then the epiphany comes (sort of) as he begins to piece things together. This plot element is OK but in addition to this we have the tiresome bit where the policewoman decides she'd like to adopt the little girl whose head she sort of smashed in. It is implied that no one will want her because of her mother's history, but we don't see any remnants of fetal alcohol syndrome (or similar things). It's called padding. And the further adventures of Tinka (what a name) and her anger. Don't forget all the ridiculous discoveries people make leaving their stuff unguarded and leaving guns and drugs where someone can find them.
