Phenomenal!!!
hsuits-344439 January 2023
I went into this episode expecting great things, expecting to be "moved"... And I was not disappointed. There is only one word that sums up this episode: PHENOMENAL!!! I knew the two Biblical miracles that were going to be portrayed but that didn't change the impact they had on me. I had chills going down my spine and tears flowing down my cheeks. It was so beautifully portrayed and acted and shot and directed. Everything from the opening scene to the very last will grip you and you won't want to look away till the credits roll. All I can say is great job to the cast and crew: Phenomenal episode!! This episode is going to touch hearts!!

Probably the best episode yet
rogerdozier9 January 2023
I love this series, actually I don't know if we can just call this a series because it is so much more. The last 30mins made me cry with joy and happiness of just how amazing the lord is. This episode was very moving and I'm about to start watching it again. It is a true blessing to watch this epic, and emotional series. I really cannot recall any series or mini series or movie that has made me cry with joy so many times. I can feel the holy spirit every time I watch this. God bless everyone involved with this wonderful show... there is nothing else like it. I can't thank you enough for making this. There is a special place in Heaven for all of you, Shalam.

Little Lamb, Arise!

Wow!! Wow!! Wow! That was LITERALLY the BEST episode in the entire series. This beats any episode of the chosen so far. Heck, even episode 3. The Christmas episode. Ha, physician heal your self episode i mean. And two by two. Okay anyways, going back to the topic. Wow. What an incredible episode, the writing, the acting, the emotional beats in this episode far surpasses anything i have seen in any movie or tv show besides breaking bad. This is probably the first time we've seen this level of blood and gore in the chosen too. Spoiler alert on that because of the intro. My heart was literally beating over a hundred beats per minute. That is crazy. This is probably the most intense episode too in the series. The first 4 episodes of season 3 so far have been amazing. And had some moderate intensity. But this episode kicked the intensity level up a NOTCH. And yes the spiritual cleansing story aspect of the middle of this season was really awesome to hear. Good job dallas and the team behind this amazing series. Keep up the good work! And lastly I can't wait to see episode 6-8! Can't wait to see the feeding of the 5000!! Wowoooo here we go!!

I Feel Jesus' Love
RustyBoyz9 January 2023
Each episode of this series brings the life of Jesus and his followers more to understanding, and "Clean, Part 2" is one of the best at doing so. I love how personal this episode made the administrations of the Lord as he interacts one on one with those he heals and helps. The emotion and caring he showed to the woman with the issue of blood felt so real and genuine. It was a powerful moment that my whole family felt.

And Jesus teaching his apostles personally got my kids excited because they recognized the teachings and the meanings behind them. I felt like this season has been building to this episode, and now we're in anticipation for each New Testament sorry to be brought to life by the next episodes.

Best episode yet!

I don't even know how it's possible, but this is the BEST EPISODE YET! From the intense opening scene to that very last pull back shot and everything in between, I was continually on the edge of my seat. The acting of the regulars and the newcomers is phenomenal. The way they emote without saying a word brings the characters of the Bible to life as I've never seen before. When they do speak, their ability to maintain an accent while bringing so much depth to their characters never ceases to amaze. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the cast and crew for bringing this amazing portrayal of the Greatest Story Ever Told.

So so so real. Jesus as He lived among us.
jorgelazarodiaz30 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
They've taken the stories of Jairus and the bleeding woman from the Gospels and brought them to life. Roumie as Jesus plays Him so humbly, loving, and so believably human and real. His interacting with Jairus and the woman showed such kindness. His acknowledging their faith as their gift to him and their gratitude was so well told, so well acted.

The final scene with them celebrating in the sea showing their playfulness. You never get a chance to see into what Jesus' life would be like outside the scenes retold in the Gospels. Their telling shows his miracles and teaching in context. It's so refreshing and now something that enters into my own prayer life.

Veronica and Jairus
Kirpianuscus26 March 2023
I admitt, large of second part of episode , my eyes was covered by tears. Because, indeed, the forms of intense faith of Jairus and Veronica are sources of powerful emotion.

Like in each episode, you expect to see the form choosen for events more than familiar. And each occasion , you discover the wise, inspired , great answer. The axis- the story from New Testament becomes your experience. A desperate father, using his last chance for cure his beloved daughter. A woman suffering 12 zears period , covered by shame and pains. Their courage. And His answer.

Very often, the questions about correctness of script is present. And it is normal - different confessions, different religions define the viewers of each episode.

But each episode offers the new way to discover, understand old facts. But, more important, to feel them. And , after the end of an episode like this, fair is to be real grateful.

Jairus' daughter
l-perez-dancer24 February 2024
I've been an avid Bible student since I was 21 years old. Prior to that I lived my life without caring what my Creator thought about my choices. My Bible study has only increased in the over the 40 years since I first started reading the Gospel accounts.

I know the Bible very well and am thoroughly enjoying The Chosen series. Naturally, since I am so familiar with the Bible account, I have some opinions about this series. I believe it is important to point out that less than 10% of each episode of The Chosen is actually from the Bible accounts. Ninety percent of these episodes are embellishments; the producer's ideas of how the Bible characters may have spoken, looked and acted, beyond what is written in the Bible. I have no problem with those embellishments. As a matter of fact, I appreciate and enjoy much of the non-biblical inventions by the writers of this series.

I would like to speak about the good and the not so good embellishments created by the writers of this series. I hope you will not be offended by my critique.

Season 3, Episode 5, Jairus' daughter. There was a good amount of Bible content in this episode. I don't want to give any spoilers, so I'll just say that this was one of the best episodes of the series. So, other than the recurring issues I stated in previous episodes; the names of Christ and his Father as well as the dress and grooming, I have no issues with this episode.

Biblical content in this episode; 20%. Matthew 9:15-26; Mark 5:21-43; Luke 8:41-56.

WOW
Guamless_Lapidus6 July 2024
This was the best episode so far. Words can't explain just how incredible this episode is. I cried a few times throughout. I even cried before one of the miracles even happened and was filled with so much anticipation as the story built up toward that moment. And it didn't disappoint. It was so much more than I could have hoped.

The series is so well written and the people & stories are so well thought out. I feel an emotional connection to the characters and to how things unfold. The whole episode was so intense. And you could feel the stakes rising especially from the start of this season till now.

I'm so glad I found this series.
