Amazing conclusion to season 1!

Wow this episode was great! It wrapped up a lot of things in a great way while also teasing whats to come! This episode had It all with great action and emotional moments! Denji vs Katana man was great! Animation was solid! I could pause at any moment and It would look good! The fight was also intense and lots of blood of course! Denji and Aki's contest was both hillariously dark and satisfying!

Now i just wanns thank those who worked on this!! They really did an amazing job and I never thought each episode would look as good as they did! Movie quality!

The endings was also great! Each had their own unique style that still managed to fit within the show! Its a level of dedication we rarely get! Hope this trend continues in future seasons!

Thank you Mappa for giving us this masterpiece!

Overall a GREAT conclusion to S1. Top tier action.

The first season of Chainsaw Man has been excellently adapted by Mappa. I have previously read the manga and I've got too many praises and just a couple of nitpicks overall towards the adaptation. The nitpicks mainly focus on SOME action scenes that looked awkward with CG.

This episode was so so good from start to finish. The direction was so good. The action scenes in this episode was in my opinion flawless. Great conclusion to the Katana Devil arc. Character acting animation was as always THE BEST in the anime industry. Loved the ED song as well.

The first 38 chapters which the season adapted is rather TAME compared to the upcoming 60. So I am really looking forward to what mappa does with the upcoming arc which are the stronger arcs of CSM.

Finished the manga and the series is delivering

Warning: Spoilers
Everything is exactly what I wanted it to be, but also not what I expected (in a good way). Now that the series is finished I know what's to come or basically what's guaranteed next season and i hope I don't have to wait too long for the Darkness Devil. I knew about all the devils before the series and what they do, what they look like, etc. So it was cool to see them nail the Future devil, Eternity devil, and ghost devil. But what threw me off is I didn't expect the future devil to sound the way it did or have that presence not that it was bad I loved it just not expected. I can't wait to see what sound they'll use when the darkness devil appears or what sound like if it talks.

Nut-kicking competition

In the last episode of "Chainsaw Man", Aki defeats the ghost devil when he remembers that it is blind and can only sense fear. Recollections of Himeno allow him to approach it, fearlessly, and he decapitates it with his samurai sword.

Meanwhile, Chainsaw Man and Katana Man have their final showdown on a train. Katana Man looks to have won when he cuts off both Chainsaw Man's arms, leaving him with only the blade growing out of his head. Unsurprisingly, though, he still manages to get the upper hand somehow.

We then see Katana Man returned to his normal human form, tied up in his underwear, and Denji convinces Aki to have a competition where they compete to see who can make him scream the loudest by kicking him in the groin.

Remember how Katana Man's face melted off when he transformed back into his human form? I don't think they really explained that. Does Chainsaw Man do that when he transforms back into Denji? I don't remember. And how do they transform back? Denji pulls the ripcord when he wants to become Chainsaw Man. Does he pull it again to become Denji?

There's a lot of unanswered questions, but maybe that's part of the point. The show is chaotically insouciant in regards to making sense, and therein lies its charm. It's insane, violent, unpredictable, occasionally hilarious. It's one of the better anime shows I've seen.
