Slick direction, stellar performances, and gripping storyline

It masterfully strikes a balance between emotion and action, avoiding the pitfalls of melodrama and staying true to the story's essence. The pacing is impeccable, with moments of high-stakes tension expertly interwoven with quieter, more introspective scenes that reveal the characters' complexities. This gripping thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, thanks to Nushrratt Bharuccha's powerhouse performance as Jyoti, a strong-willed and determined young woman caught in the midst of a war zone.

The direction is succinct. The supporting cast shines, with Tsahi Halevi delivering a chilling performance as the ISIS supreme commander. While some creative liberties have been taken with the story, ir leaves a lasting effect. Reminded me of 'Not Without My Daughter'. This movie is a testament to the human spirit's capacity for resilience and courage in the face of overwhelming adversity. A great watch.

Nushrratt Bharuccha needs to go back to drama swchool

The story of an Indian women caught up in the cruelty of the Islamic State. With its barbaric treatment of women, would have been great, had it not been for the film director failing to properly direct the movie''s star.

In the first part of the film, Nushrratt Bharuccha utter fails to rise to the challenge of portraying and expressing emotions. Her acting is fake and unconvincing. Her face when the scene calls for showing pain, distress and anxiety is very poorly acted, in fact her mimic and facial expression are at best that of a trauma student who has failed the second course in drama school. It just is overacted, put on, and unconvincing. Having a very pretty face is is no substitute for great acting, which a serious film, such as this one, calls for. It is a great pity that the director was not able to bring out a better performance from Nushrratt Bharuccha.

This is the story of an ordinary girl who is defeated by circumstances and gets help from circumstances, where she is determined not to lose courage and the will to return to her mother land by any means... "AKELLI'' is a bold experiment. Whether the experiments succeed or fail, there is a different joy in continuing the experiments and in this respect both Nushrratt Bharucha and the film's director Prannoy Meshram deserve praise...

Barring a few weak scenes like handcuffing a deadly terrorist in his sleep and turning off the electricity of the entire airport with just one switch, the rest of the script of the film maintains its pace. Yes, the film is not helped at all by its dialogues. If a writer with linguistic proficiency had written dialogues based on dialects and idioms based on this script, the impact of the film would have been different...

A big victory for Nusrat Bharucha she holds the ace with her emotional quotient utmost with losing its intensity...Way to ahead of places & do continue ur prowess of choosing scripts... Nishant Dahiya plays Rafeeq in the movie who is seen in a cameo role. His character has no significant role in the first half but proves himself worthy in the second half. He is actually a good actor and proves his acting prowess in this movie as well...

Cinematographer Pushkar Singh has done the filming of Mosul, set in the location of Uzbekistan, very well especially the drone photography are top notch... He has also received an ample support from film editor to achieve this authentic success...

Overall Nushratt Bharruccha shines in Akelli and quite literally carries the film with utmost glory... While The movie has its own share of flaws but it tries to deliver an impactful movie that is gripping and gritty...

Throughout, the acting was great. The filmmaker did an outstanding job of capturing the desolate landscape and the impending feeling of doom that surrounded the war. The discussion is somewhat advanced. Furthermore, Nushratt Bharuccha is the real deal, and his presentation is outstanding. With each new development, the story thickens. The story of an average Indian girl imprisoned in Iraq's war-torn prison system is intriguing. The photos' ability to express the actual anguish of war is astounding. It was a sight to witness throughout the course of the weekend. It will captivate you to an incomprehensible degree.

Watchful movie

The narrative centers around an average Indian girl's struggle to survive in a war-torn country. This depiction of the struggle for survival is superb. It could not be constructed any better than this. Your performance has left me flabbergasted, Nushrat Barrucha. She has always been authentic. Her performance was sufficient to earn my affection. Director has been phenomenal in every respect. I would appreciate it if you shared his work with your coworkers and loved ones. It is something I appreciate and have observed on multiple occasions. Five occasions, to be precise. It is never monotonous. I am confident that you will appreciate it.

All of the actors performed exceptionally well. The Director has done an excellent job depicting the war-torn.

In every film she appears in, she gives her all, but this one stands out. I'm looking forward to watching this film. The film is a must-watch due to its captivating narrative and outstanding performances by all involved. I am certain that you will appreciate the video. Greetings to the Team. As an actor, I can confidently assert that the world needs more films of this caliber. I am speechless. All of Nushrat's performances were outstanding. I can sense the suffering of her character. Typically, she gives her all in every film, but this one seems exceptional. I am quite eager to watch this film. This is a film that should be seen by everyone with their friends and family due to its outstanding plot and acting by the entire ensemble. I am confident that you will enjoy the film; my best regards to the cast and personnel. As an actor, I believe there is a need for more films like this one. I viewed this video, and it is a very beautiful work of art that has been portrayed in a remarkable way. I am without adequate words. In every scene, Nushrat performed a fire performance. I can perceive the suffering of her character. For our Bollywood industry and female strength... Congratulations to everyone on the "AKELLI" and Dashami studios teams... Nushratt Bharuccha is perceptive. Her acting abilities are exceptional. This depicts a war-torn region and the ensuing terror.

An average Indian girl is trapped in a conflict zone and must fight for her life. And this depiction of the fight for existence is superb. This is the most reliable basis available. I am speechless after seeing NushratBarruchha's performance. Around here, she's been very much the genuine deal. Just from her acting, I was completely smitten with her. The director's efforts are well beyond the norm of excellence. Tell your friends and family about what he's doing. I find it entertaining, and I've seen it several times. Five times, to be exact. There's never a dull moment. I'm confident, though, that you'll appreciate it.

Every single one of the actors was fantastic. The Director did a fantastic job of capturing the desolate landscape and sense of impending doom that accompanied the battle. There is a high level of discourse. Moreover, Nushratt Bharuccha is the genuine article, and his performance is superb. The story's tension builds with every new twist. A common Indian girl's experience in jail in war-torn Iraq makes for a fascinating subject. The pictures are stunning; they capture the true horror of war well. It was a pleasure to see throughout the weekend. It's guaranteed to keep you captivated to the fullest degree imaginable. One of the actors are fanastic.

The script, the directing, and most importantly, the lead actor's performance, are all excellent. The ending isn't satisfactory. The quick looping of the camera can sometimes cause blurriness. The importance of the circumstances that prompted the creation of this representation cannot be emphasized. Nushrat has amazing stage presence. She has consistently given impressive turns in her cinematic roles, but this one stands out. For quite some time, I've been anticipating watching this movie. This role would be ideal for her to demonstrate her acting skills. The director did a fantastic job tying together all the disparate parts of the story. Don't miss this if you're into top-notch Web series; it's the height of cinematic perfection. Careful consideration was devoted to each individual character.top notch web series.

The story follows a regular Indian girl as she fights for her life in a country ripped apart by civil conflict. The depiction of the fight for survival in this piece is outstanding. There is no other way to build it. NushratBarruchha's performance left me unable to articulate my admiration. She has always been an honest person. Just watching her, I was completely enthralled. Director has been superb in every way. I would appreciate it if you told your friends and family about his books. I am a person who enjoys this show and has seen it many times. In fact, it's happened five times! There's never a dull moment. I think you'll appreciate its usefulness...

Excellent premise, excellent director, and outstanding lead actor performance. The conclusion is deficient. In some instances, the fast-moving camera cycles cause the background to distort or become obscured. The magnificence of the environment is evident in this image. She is an accomplished actress. In every film she appears in, she gives her all, but this one stands out. I'm looking forward to watching this film. This would be the most intriguing aspect of her acting career, in my opinion. The director did an outstanding job of tying together all of the narrative threads. Fans of web series should not miss these magnificent episodes based on the greatest film ever made. Character development and direction are consistently exceptional.

It was impossible to construct a more solid foundation. I am currently at a loss for words, Nushrat Barruchha. She has demonstrated her authenticity. Her performance captivated me on its own. The director has given an exceptional performance. I hope you will inform your colleagues and family about him and his efforts. I am among those who admire this film and have viewed it multiple times. On five separate occasions. It is never dull. I am willing to wager money that you will enjoy it.

The narrative, direction, and performance of the primary character are all exceptional. The conclusion does not meet expectations. Some sequences become hazy or unclear due to the rapidity with which the camera rotates. We can perceive the magnificence of the conditions that lead to the creation of this image. Nushrat is an accomplished actor. Typically, she gives her all in every film, but this one seems exceptional. I am quite eager to watch this film. This would be the most thrilling aspect of her acting career, in my opinion. The director did an outstanding job of tying together all of the plot threads. The most captivating film. If you're a fan, don't miss out on this excellent Web series. Each character is meticulously portrayed, and the direction is outstanding.

Great acting

The art of Nushratt Bharuccha brings it to life. She is an outstanding actress. You can almost feel the devastated landscape and the accompanying anguish. Conversations are composed with zeal. This narrative is genuine, and the writing is outstanding. The narrative holds your attention throughout. A girl's voyage across the war-ravaged nation of Idaa. And the graphics are truly incredible. It is mandatory viewing. It will definitely entertain you. This is a brilliant course of action. The concept is valid, and the dialogue is executed beautifully. One cannot always demand more. Amazingly perceptive.

A well made film about a woman stuck in a hostage situation in Mosul Iraq and is carried by an absolutely brilliant performance from Nushrat Barucha

I just saw this film and I believe it is a very well-made film for the most part, the story is of an Indian woman who was unfortunately trapped in Mosul, Iraq during the ISIS takeover and the film deals with how the woman, played amazingly well by Nushrat Barucha, deals with the situation she is stuck in. The entire focus of the movie is Nushrat, she carries the film completely on her petite back and is a perfect cast for the role, her amazing acting skills shows how she feels shock, fear , is vulnerable, helpless and is at odds with such a terrifying predicament. The movie is for the most part at a good pace, slowing only in the beginning with some lackluster music , the characterization is very good, the actors chosen to be militants is very authentic and real, and the dialogues are absolutely real, requiring translation in a few places which the subtitles show. The movie is only 2 hours long and is not a slog and the main antagonist is the Israeli actor from the famous series Fauda, Tsahi Halevi, who does an amazing job. The main friend of the protagonist is Nishant Dahiya, who does a great job at portraying emotions through his character of Rafiq. The movie is on an important topic as well, a real life story and goes to show how terrifying life can be for human beings in such conflict ridden areas and the sadness about how cheap human life can be for fellow humans driven by dangerous politics and ideology. All in all, Akelii is a good film and is carried by an absolutely terrific acting performance by Nushrat Barucha and is a well made film on a sad but true aspect of human society.

The narrative was superb, the direction was excellent, and the lead actor was superb. The ending does not provide satisfactory resolution. Due to the rapid movement of the camera reels, several shots are hazy or poorly lit. The creation of this film might be felt as a monumental event. Nushrat is a phenomenal artist. She always gives her all in the movies she's in, and this one is no exception. This is a film that I have been eager to see. In my opinion, this is the most interesting part of her acting resume. The director did a great job of bringing everything together at the conclusion. The most emotionally impactful film ever created This is a must-watch for fans of web series. The directing and acting are superb, really fleshing out each of the characters.

Significantly beyond compare fantastic has been the director.

I'm speechless with Nushrat Barruchha's performance. Here, she's been the genuine deal. I fell in love with her acting all by herself. Significantly beyond compare fantastic has been the director. Please tell your loved ones and friends about his efforts. I enjoy watching it and have done it several times. To be accurate, five times. It never becomes dull. Everything about it is great, from the story to the directing to the lead actor's performance. It seems like we got bad news. In some cases, the fast-moving camera might cause the background to become blurry or unseen. The film's expansive backdrop is memorable. Nushrat is a gifted performer. She always gives her parts her all, but this one is particularly impressive. Seeing this film is a must. I think this is the most interesting time in her acting career thus far. The filmmaker did an excellent job tying together the film's many plot points. If you like web series, you should check them out as soon as they become available. Fantastic direction and character growth.

The addition of Nushratt Bharuccha revitalizes the work. Her acting abilities are amazing. The pain of a nation ripped apart by war is palpable here. All of the characters' exchanges read like they were written by a pro. Both the story and the writing are excellent. This is a fascinating read from start to finish. Find out what it'slike to be an Indian teen in the Idaa region and the difficulties they encounter on a daily basis. Incredible new possibilities present themselves. Exposure to the general people is essential. It's certain to make you laugh out loud. Superb management. The story makes sense and the characters' interactions are interesting. Simply asking for more resources is unacceptable. The results are quite remarkable.

Everyone on stage has been fantastic. The filmmaker did a fantastic job of capturing the desolate scenery and the accompanying sense of loss and despair. The banter makes perfect sense. Nushratt Bharuccha is the real deal and gives a terrific performance. As the story progresses, the stakes get more and higher. The story of a young Indian woman who finds herself in a war-torn part of Iraq is fascinating. There are also many memorable scenes that capture the true horror of combat. I greatly appreciated going to watch it over the weekend. It might pique your attention to an extreme degree.. Nice film to watch.
