This is better from the Great British Bake Off. Actual baking, not this 'cooking' thing that spoilt 'Mexican Week' for me last time around.
Instead this was just good old fashioned hot pudding cooking fun, with a clearer indication coming through now of who is going to push for the winners honours, and who is probably going to fall by the wayside as we get closer to the final.
Quite simply, the time had come for the person to leave this week, and that's no slight on them- the competition had just moved up a notch, and they couldn't compete.
We rumble on now to the next week of what has been a fair, but not overly gripping series.
