It was riveting from the word go. At the time of writing I've only seen the first episode as it only started on Australian TV last night. The casting is well done, and the attention to detail from the 1970's was without fault. This should turn out to be a very good series. It's great seeing an older "Lockie Leonard" (Sean Keenan) starring as Gary Hennessey. The 70's was a magic period and the last period of mono-culturism before our politicians changed our well working multi-racial society into something we didn't have a choice in. This first episode scored a very good 1M viewers in the Sydney ratings market. Original actors from the original Bruce Beresford directed movie of the same name, and story, gave it a good thumbs up.
