When a couple has a theme wedding, dressed as characters from "Alice in Wonderland," two shooters come in with costumes on. They shoot the groom and then proceed to take valuables, especially jewelry from all the wedding guests. It turns out that the robbing of weddings becomes a theme, with the perpetrators managing to avoid capture. Meanwhile, Hodges' mother, who he lives with, is finally moving. She visits the lab, thinking that Hodges is a big shot and has a serious thing with a colleague. Morgan, feeling sorry for him, pretends to be the woman, and, of course, things get really complicated when Mom decides to meet Morgan's father (Ecklie). I thought this was a really fun episode.

The Wedding Thieves

An Alice in Wonderland themed wedding is interrupted by two armed thieves wearing animal masks and they rob the guests and shoot the groom in his head. They successfully flee from the police, and the CSI investigate the scene. Soon they attack again in a drive thru wedding chapel and rob the old groom and the young bride. Soon the CSI find that the thieves have robbed in New York and Chicago along three days in the same modus operandis, and now they have only one day to find where it will be the next heist. Meanwhile, Hodges asks Mandy to pretend to be his girlfriend, since his mother will visit Las Vegas and he wants to impress her. Mandy refuses and when Olivia Hodges arrives in the office, Morgan Brody helps his colleague.
"Malice in Wonderland" is a great episode of "CSI", with the story of two wedding thieves. The CSI investigation is fast and precise, as usual, and the resolution is satisfactory. The funny part of the plot is the segment of Hodges and his mother Olivia that is also well-resolved and entertaining. My vote is eight.
