Ed is still in hiding, but his Private Investigator turns up some surprising information.
Michael Crompton's script delivers on every level, it's an excellent fourth and final part, it's one of those satisfying conclusions, where all of the pieces of the puzzle seem to fit nicely together, leaving no loose ends.
Maybe the final revelation didn't quite come as a shock, but the delivery was excellent, with all of the main players getting a chance to shine.
Best of all, we get to learn if Ryan is a cuckoo in the nest, or a man who's been misjudged.
There was definitely something a little old fashioned about the storytelling, the writer decided to focus on the story rather than ticking any boxes, and for that it worked very well.
Great drama, 8/10.
