The whole family seem to be psychopaths
pioneerattorneys8 September 2022
The brother and the children of the killer could not even acknowledge the essence and gravity of what the killer did to the victims family. The daughter even said that she has never thought about the victim and his family until now...how is that?

The fact that the killer had held a child hostage, shot at another and exchanged the hostage for another, the fact that he had so many hours and opportunities to have called it a halt, how about the fact that he had been in and out of prison many times in the past 10 years.

He definitely sounds remorseful now because he has had more than 30 years in prison to think about his actions but has he really changed?

An intelligent and articulate man, all that should have been used to be useful to himself and society but all went downhill.

He has already been given a reprieve by his sentence being commuted from death to life. I don't think he should be paroled.

Captivating
Calicodreamin1 September 2022
One of the most captivating episodes of this series, not only was the crime kind of crazy but the two sides of the debate were kind of eloquently presented. The case really makes you think about the justice system and the idea of the punishment fitting the crime. Documentary was well made in terms of establishing storyline and interviewing relevant parties.

Cheers to a very, very, very, very long review thanks to the new rule established for review character length, courtesy of the IMDb staff. I'm glad to report that you can absolutely trust that this review is credible and relevant based solely on the fact that it contains at least 600 characters.

The remorseless killer.

David Cameron Keith tries to flee his crime by taking a thirteen year old boy hostage, a brave pilot takes the place of the boy, whom Keith later shoots.

I'm not sure why, but when you watch this show, it's almost as if you assume the role of judge and jury. In terms of presentation, this was the strongest episode of this series by a mile, the most reasoned case, with the strongest arguments for and against, and perhaps the most compellingly case.

Perhaps the most eloquent and reasoned speakers so far, once again, are you asked to be somewhat lenient in your views here? Once again, you are made to consider that Keith should be released, it's been a common thread throughout this series, and sorry, but once again, there was zero compassion shown towards the pilot or his family, from either Keith or his family, no way on Earth should he be allowed out.

Fake up tears???? Does that not say it all? He had the awareness to do a list full of crimes, but didn't know what he was doing? Come on....

It shouldn't matter whether you have intent to do something or not, it still happened.

Excellent documentary, 9/10.

Best episode
Erik_Stone6 October 2022
The reason that this is the best episode is that this is the only guy that I think should be released. Not because he isn't guilty, or not because he isn't a career criminal or con artist; it's because I don't see him as a threat that will kill again, today.

He should have been executed, decades ago, but because of one Governor's mistake, the taxpayers have been paying to keep him alive, all these years.

Wasted money.

Either execute him or release him. There is no reason to keep him locked up.

Blah, blah, gotta hit the quota. Wouldn't it be nice if the quota didn't exist, cause it's bad. Life.
