Excellent program spoiled

This series is well researched and beautifully composed with lots of original photos, views of manor houses, interviews with current great house employees and care takers, all anchored by a narrator that places the events in the larger frame of history -- but all that painstaking creative work is spoiled because the writers could not seem to refrain from constant political and social commentary in a mildly scolding tone, pointed remarking on their perception of the "fairness" of the social structure. It quickly becomes obnoxious and casts a pall over the series. Just put aside all the politically correct opinions and tell the story - let your listeners form their own opinions.
