Good episode but...

Very nice way to explain period in a natural, normal way. But it really bothered me that the kid (Sofia) did not wash her hands. You take the time to explain hygiene, take the time to throw a scene in of washing your hands after using the toilet and a pad. Ew.

This is a sweet episode. Deals with the nature of growing up and makes it less scary. Yes, there is some classic Disney pandering here but all in all there is a very sweet and heartfelt sentiment here.

I understand that most people say this is to mature but I don't think so, everyone will learn about periods even younger boys I grew up with a sister so I knew from a younger age but the only thing I had a issue is the all gender bathroom! Like really? No middle school has a all gender bathroom no place unless it for family bathrooms.

Puting such an episode in a kid show is like great. Talking about stuff that's supoosed to be taboo, and education children through baymax is just great. Hope more kids shows does this.

Fully appropriate for kids and a really nice message. The art design on this show is lovely. Groundbreaking representation with the mention of the trans guy. It's not much but an lgbt writer at Disney must've fought pretty hard for that small inclusion. It will likely help ease a lot of trans kid's dysphoria around periods as well.

This was an amazing episode. Great way to teach youth about their bodies and what's going with them and that its natural. Love the inclusion in every aspect of this.

The main issue for the character is that she got her first period and she expresses how she feels about it and it scary and it feels like childhood is over. I didn't have this on TV when I was little, period were always treated like a taboo subject matter and it's really now it's a part of life and this can open the doors for parents and guardians have something to lean on when they need help explaining this.

Such a great show and this episode is fantastic. It talks about real issues in a totally appropriate manner, normalizes parts of puberty, and normalizes people of all types. So refreshing to have more shows and movies by Disney challenging what society previously said shouldn't be discussed. I also LOVED the cameo of a person who appears to be transitioning FTM.

This is amazing! So many kids were told "you're a women now" kids are kids and it's important for periods to seen as normal and not this crazy taboo life changing situation. I LOVE that Disney is showing fun humorous period content in an inviting way for kids to learn! And this isnt different for Disney! Remember Hilary duff saying "I WANT A BRA!" helped me figure out bra shopping as a tween! Good job Disney!

I loved that they include such a taboo subject on it. It's such a hard and complicated time for so many people and Baymax deal with it like a pro. Super cute and very informative.
