I disagree with the other reviewer: Personally, I don't think that this short was intended to be something homophobic at all, or to show that the heterosexual lifestyle is the only "normal" lifestyle. Instead of that, it clearly shows how the "normal" birds are prejudiced and unwilling to accept anyone different due their own preconceptions and bias.
In that way, the main character (the only straight flamingo from its community) is at first mocked and then rejected by the "normal" birds. (I found particularly interesting the little twist at the end which shows in a comical manner that not everything is what it seems at first sight and that even the apparent "normality" is merely a facade)
Visually, without being spectacular, this short is pretty well done. The contrast of the cartoonish designs of the birds characters with the two realistic tigers which appear in one of the scenes was a nice touch in my opinion.
Even if it is not the best animated short ever made, I think that "Flamingo Pride" has enough merits to be considered as something worth-watching at least, though I could understand if some viewers could find it to be offensive and biased.
